Rambo Goes Bollywood

Sylvester Stallone is going to become the first maor 'Hollywood' actor to star in a Bollywood movie.

AND, actor turned California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be making an appearance in the flick as well!

The Sly Bollywood movie is called Incredible Love, the story of an Indian stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm looking for love.

Incredible Love will be the first Indian production to be shot at Hollywood’s Universal Studios. It's budget is set at $22 million - the highest in Bollywood history!

This announcement followed the reports that Indian company Reliance will be a major investor in Steven Speilberg's $1 billion bid to make Dreamworks studio independent.

Looks like Sly and Arnold won't be the only Hollywooders rocking the bhangra beats in flicks!

Bollywood films are super fun.

Stallone NEEDS to break out into song and dance!

      I am excited Sly will be doing more flicks,,(even if they are not Bollywood) he is one of my fav's and years ago I would never take him serious but went I dig deep into my dvd collection looking for something fun,, I love watching Judge Dredd and Demolition Man,, he was so great back in the day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

There are also many serious films coming out from the Indian film industry, such as the new release "Sarkar Raj" which is in theatres here now, so it's not just wicked eyeliner, six pack abs, and outrageously over the top "item" numbers. (Not that I don't love those too…and Hrithik Roshan is my #1 crush.)

      London, June 22 (PTI) Top Hollywood action heroes Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are set to act in a Bollywood flick, a Rs 90-crore production, which is by far the highest budget of any Indian movie.
      For the first time, Sly, known for his towering roles in Rocky and Rambo series, and "Terminator Arnold", who is also the governor of California, will appear alongside Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in producer Sajid Nadiadwala's latest venture "Kambakht Ishq".

      The film is about an Indian stuntman, who takes Hollywood by storm, but having difficulty in finding his true love in the alien city.

      Set for production at Hollywood's Universal Studios, "Kambakht Ishq" will be directed by Sabir Khan, who will be making his directorial debut with the film.

      Producer Sajid Nadiadwala said his success in landing Stallone and Schwarzenegger reflected the growing power of the Indian film market and Bollywood's increasing cooperation with Hollywood studios, which are keen to cut costs.

      "We have signed Sylvester Stallone to be a part of 'Kambakth Ishq'. We have a certain vision for our production house," Nadiadwala was quoted as saying.

      "Since the film is based in Hollywood … It made perfect sense to appoint casting agents in Hollywood and cast mainstream Hollywood stars. This film is one of our most ambitious ventures to date and we didn't want to leave any stone unturned," he added.

      Total agreement. How many American/Hollywood movies are remakes of foreign movies. Also many of the films are about Indian history and current events (Pakistan/India tension, Kashmir trying to be independent, Indian History (Jodhaa Akbar - about the Mughal Empire), Lagaan (about the British rule)… India is a fascinating country with a long history, unlike America. Don't get me wrong, I am happy and proud to be American but many people have the sadly uninformed opinions of India and Indian people. This post is probably way too intellegent for this forum but oh well.
