Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, faces life in jail if convicted on the multitude of charges against him, including wire fraud and money laundering.
The Italian businessman was arrested on Tuesday, and now, his bail has been set at $21 million.
$21 MILLION!
If he can come up with the cash, then he will be allowed to leave jail and live under house arrest.
This is God's way of telling him, "You fucked with the wrong bitch, this time!"

$21 M bail requires 10% if paid in cash. A bail bondsman, or personal assets can be put up for the $210,000. So actually, he has to come up with 5 co-signers and $210,000 in cash.

This sounds like a similar case here in Asia recently… Several dozens of people, including a C-list model/actress, lost their money (over $60M) to an Italian "investor" who happens to be that actress's boyfriend of several years.
He probably did half of the stealing that he did to have cash to impress her, though I don't think of her as a gold-digging kind of gal.
