One time I heard George Carlin tell a joke, and I hella was giggling.

Why are we talking about him dying when TIM RUSSERT died too? He is a CLASSY LEGEND. He was an ICON who went out with STYLE and CLASS. Unless this gentleman's last interview was with TIM RUSSERT, I am not interested. It is our job as TIM'S survivors to keep his CLASSY LEGEND alive in a CLASSY way.
Nothing bad to say this time. R.I.P. George… you will be missed much more than you'd ever know!

Rest in peace George- It's sad to think I won't hear that awesome witty humour from him again - with the exception of reruns….he truly was the funniest comedian I've ever heard and he had the most engaging smile and laugh - I miss too much already…..

Re: WWTD? – Seriously, I wouldn't expect anything regarding Tim Russert to be taken serious here on this site. George Carlin was a comedian and since this site is a joke, it only makes sense that George is mentioned moreso than someone who is respected for being himself, not a celebrity.

this remind's me of a story my great grandma used to tell me about slavery when I was just knee high and I didn't understand much of the story because she alway's talked to me without her denture's and she was high as a kite from all the opium she used to smoke but that's neither here nor there. all I know is I'am still waiting for my restitution check. did I mention that after she passed I went to the reading of her will and she left me her old wooden denture's and they have worked great for me ever since as a door stop. well, gotta go. I need to take my squirell's for their afternoon walk and then we go over to the local park and they play on the jungle gym and what not. just a little update on my day laborer's working on my kitchen, you wont believe what happened this morning but the INS pulled up in front of my house and took all my worker's because they were illegal, go figure. who would of known they were illegal's because when I pick them up each day I alway's ask if they are legal and they always assure me that they are.

Re: WWTD? – Look, I respect Tim just as much as the next guy but in the grand scheme of things, George entertained me much more than some guy who did his political thing each Sunday & during election years. If you're looking for some grand big hoopla for Russert, try CNN or FauxNews as he was much more of a celebrity there than he would be in the "entertainment" world that this joke of a website is suppose to be covering.

A lot of people would have been ashamed to go on television with huge bloated red cheeks that would make the average person nauseous just to look at, but TIM was a PROUD, STRONG, REAL, CLASSY, ICONIC LEGEND with no time for fools or women. He was truly the greatest ever. He was one of the few comedians you didn't have to watch in order to laugh at his jokes. There are so few comedy albums out there that one can listen to and laugh out loud without having to see the facial expressions of that person. He will be truly missed.

You were are great inspiration to all, with your no nosense comedy, hitting those hard subjects & pointing out the reality is something that only a true genius could achieve. My favourite memory on one of your films is in Jay & Silent bob when your holding the sign about giving head for a ride, absolutely classic, your humour has been instilled in me forever & it breaks my heart to know I will never get to see you in person. For everone who has not gotten to see you in action, I am sure they are all shattered as well. With such emotion pouring out right now I can't find the words so I am just gonna end the blog with, We love & miss you already & you will NEVER be forgotten. I saw George live (twice!) many years ago and the guy was friggin HILARIOUS!

I was lucky enough to see George this past February. Everyone had a great time and a great laugh. Thank you for everything Mr. Carlin.
george carlin was an incredibly intelligent, kind, sincere and hilarious man. my boyfriend and i have every record and hbo special and book… everything carlin you can imagine. i last saw him perform live at the hermosa comedy club a few months ago. i had a strange feeling that it was gonna be the last time i saw him, but that didn't prepare me for the shock i felt upon hearing he had passed. i'm gonna miss you, george. you changed my life! much love!!! xo
