The rapper just unleashed this rant about his performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, where angry fans started throwing stuff on stage after he went on late - very very late.
Says Kanye:
"I am sick of negative people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall… Why???? I understand if people don't like me because I like me or if people think tight clothes look gay or people say I run my mouth to much, But this Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I've ever had in my life. This is the most offended I've ever been… this is the maddest I ever will be. I'm typing so fucking hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air!!!!!!!! Call me any name you want…. arrogant, conceited, narcissistic, racist, metro, fag whatever you can think of…. BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! WE WERE OBVIOUSLY DEALING WITH FUCKING IDIOTS WHO DIDN'T REALLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REALLY PUT ON THIS SHOW PROPERLY. THEY TRIED 2 GIVE ME A TIME SLOT WERE IT WAS STILL LIGHT OUTSIDE … I HAVE A FUCKING LIGHT SHOW DUMB ASS, IT'S NOT CALLED GLOW IN THE DARK FOR NO REASON SQUID BRAINS! MY PEOPLE WORKED OUT A COMPROMISED STAGE PLOT AND A 3AM TIME SLOT AND I AGREED. FAST FOWARD TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW. MY PRODUCTION MANAGER TRIED TO LOAD IN FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE I WENT ON STAGE BUT THE FESTIVAL WOULDN'T ALLOW US TO DO ANYTHING UNTILL PEARL JAM LEFT THE STAGE. PEARL JAM ENDED ONE HOUR

REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE A SHORTY AND WATER WOULD HIT THE TV?????? WHEN I GOT 2 "THROUGH THE WIRE" I STEPPED ON THE FRONT PART OF MY STAGE AND THERE WAS SO MUCH LIQUID ON THE STAGE I COULDN'T MOVE WITHOUT SLIPPING. I HAD TO ADJUST MY WHOLE PERFORMANCE STYLE BECAUSE OF IT. A FEW MORE SONGS IN AND THE SONG WAS ON IT'S WAY UP.. I CUT A FEW SONGS FROM THE SET BECAUSE I WANTED PEOPLE 2 EXPERIENCE STRONGER WHILE THERE WAS STILL SOME DARKNESS TO PERFORM IT IN. I'VE STRUGGLED WITH STRONGER FROM IT'S CONCEPTION. REMEMBER LAST SUMMER WHEN I CANCELED SOME TV APPEARANCES. IT WAS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO PERFORM STRONGER IN THE DAYTIME. ANYONE WHO CAME TO THE GLOW TOUR CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I WANTED PEOPLE TO SEE IT PROPERLY. IT BROKE MY HEART THAT I COULDN'T GIVE THESE FANS STRONGER IN IT'S GREATEST FORM… BY THE TIME I GOT TO STRONGER IT WAS DAYTIME AND IT BROKE MY HEART. i saw the glow in the dark tour in philly a couple of weeks ago, and it was f*cking amazing. best concert i've ever been to, and i've been to hundreds. whatever assholes were throwinbg shit onstarge, obviously didn't know what they were in for in terms of entertainment.

If anyone saw the Glow In The Dark Tour, you would know that Kanye puts on a hell of a show. Everything he says seems legit - like him or not, he is a true artist that is pissed that people would think he half assed his performance. I saw it - he definitely wasn't as comfortable as he was during his tour…but still amazing.
This will be my last year at Bonnaroo - you druggie hipsters can have it - it sucks now.

yeah… okay I was at Bonnaroo, stood around waiting two hours for his ass to show up. Missed another set that I wanted to see. He came out on stage failed to acknowledge the crowd, or even say something while he was on stage for the extremely long wait. A quick I'm sorry would have put me just fine. Then I was talking to one of the guys working that stage and he said the stage was ready but Kanye wanted to be the last guy to perform for the night.
But I am glad he apologize in his angry rant. But I don't accept it because bitched that he works hard like everyone else right afterwards.
Side note: This isn't going to stop me from listening to him because he still puts out good music.

Listen, I went to see the Kanye West show in San Jose, CA and I really wasn't impressed. I also wasn't impressed by his twenty minute rant about how its so hard being him. I saw the Glow tour and I've seen Kanye perform two times prior to that and I will go on record as saying he puts on the SICKEST performance ever…I refuse to believe that he would put on anything less than the best show he is physically able to give. Watch him on "Ellen" and other shows like that - he is going all out whether it's a stadium packed or an audience of 200 middle-aged women. You can feel his energy and that's half of what make his shows so amazing. I don't blame people for being pissed but anyone who has been to festivals and concerts in general has to know the artist is at the mercy of the venue most of the time and shit NEVER runs on time. And I've seen Pearl Jam live too and guess what - they went on an hour late and didn't apologize to the audience so those of you hating on K - your little grunge band is no better.

The reason people were throwing shit on the stage was because kanye demanded that Phil lesh and friends be cut off early so he could put on his fireworks show. Now for al those who are not familiar with music festivals or good music, Phil Lesh was a member of the grateful dead. The grateful dead was there from the conception of a music festival. Music festivals are about talented MUSIC artist and most people that attend festivals love jam bands and the grateful dead and many fans were ther FOR phil lesh. If Kanye wants to start breaking into that scene he needs to start at the bottom and work up bc in the eyes of the fans of live music, kanye isn't SHIT. I personally was offended by the whole thing and i think bonnaroo owes Phil and apology and most of the people who went there bc i DID NOT nor did any of my friends pay money to see kanye…WE WANTED TO SEEE PHIL. GDF WHAT!

This is really funny.. because I went to his show in Miami w/Rihanna & N.E.R.D, and the first thing all my friends said afterwards is that it looked like he didn't even want to be there!!! He was rushing through every song, and just marked his movements. It was definitely a disappointment… NOT for him though! There were kids all over running around buying his merchandise.

Kanye was in ATLANTA at midnight when he was supposed to perform on stage at Bonnaroo at 2:45am. Bonnaroo is in Tennessee. If you're going to perform late, let the crowd know. No one wants to wait while they could be listening to other music. And no one wants to have to stop listening to their music cause you don't want to perform against other jam bands.
