Missed the show. Enough of those leggings already! From a child of the '80s, teen of the '90s, I wore them then and looking back, leggings were not cute and they are not cute now. Not to mention that it's a "style" that's been over for more than a year, let it go ladies and put on a pair of pants, shorts-scratch the shorts-, a skirt, or simply a dress!

I find it funny that anyone has a problem with black people having one channel out of the 100's that belong to the white folks. give me a break in the early days MTV or VH1! didn't have anyone black on them…they may do now but took a while to get there. Do we judge Spanish folks for having there Telumundo and they have at least 3 different Spanish channels on my cable plus HBO Latino.. I dont see the problem and BET have more than just Black people at there awards Shows… seem to remember Robin Thicke performing last year….and wasn't fergie on stage last night…..hmmm i can go on and on…but let the Fools do what they do best.

i somewhat agree with Jill. It's not that having a black awards show is racist it's just very hypoctritical to what they have been trying to achieve all these years and that is equality. There is no equality in having an awards show made especially for any race and it's quite obvious that if white people had their own special awards show people would go fucking crazy and that WOULD be considered rasism. i don't even think it would be allowed to air. how is that fair at all? nobody should be seen just for their colour. our world is still just as fucked up as when blacks were slaves.

Get off the myspace and cell phone and go to the library or use your 'internets" and take a look back at television history to see the role minorities played in television and film. that was one of the most fun segments in the show! it was nice to see all the ladies, whether they've aged and gained a few pounds or not. one of the swv girls actually just got back from japan doing a multi-artist soul review where a friend of mine was one of the concert organizers. they paid her out the AZZ and she is finacially set for the year after that tour! as long as these ladies are working in some capacity or other it's still nice to see them around after all these years, baby-bearing hips and all.
I love TLC! THEIR OUTFITS ARE SO UNFORTUNATE THOUGH!

Re: Sasho – Thank you. I was going to say the same thing. MTV and VH1 only started putting African-American music on their channel to keep up the changes in music. Initially, when it first started, it was all white–probably before they were born.

Telemundo is for Hispanics, The Asians also have their own channel, even The Native Americans have a channel devoted strictly to American Indians. The Gays had a channel but it went off the air from lack of viewership. Now I hear the Arab Americans are starting their own channel in Michigan. Did you know that in Miami the Cubans have a channel for Cubans? Everyone does it. it seems.
Wow! Cool to see TLC, SWV and En Vogue again! I Remember SVW classic "Right here", so good. TLC had some great hits with "No Scrubs", "Red light special", "Waterfalls". They were great. Just as Salt N Pepa was back in the day. And will this be the return of the Funky Divas - En Vogue? I really liked that classy funky rnb pop dance En Vogue made. "Hold On", "My Lovin (You´re never gonna get it)", "Whatta Man", "Dont Let Go (Love)", "Riddle" and superb and still modern - "Free Your Mind". I hope they will bring som great songs on the charts!

Swv are a bunch of Racist!! I used to love their music and be a supporter buying their music at the time when they were hot, and maybe I still listen to a tune or two once in a blue moon. Like who doesn't reminisce and jam to an old Swv track. But FYI that all girl group is racists against Latino people. Im 26 now but when I was like 9 years old I seen SWV behind the scenes at the Apollo Music Theater. I was taking a guided tour of the Apollo and they were rehearsing so we got to see them. As the person giving the tour had everyone sit in the famed Apollo audience I left my seat to go say hi and ask for and Autograph they totally snubbed me, and that to me was super rude. They didn't even look in my direction or even say sorry not right now. They totally acted is i wasn't even their. Then a little Black girl on Our same tour did the same after she saw me. I was the one who went up to them then she did after me. They totally acknowledged her said hi asked her name and everything and give her the autograph and then the little bitch and her mother rubbed in my face while i was in tears. I was in shock that my favorite girl group treated did that to me treated me harsh, and were racist. Im a Puerto Rican and proud of it so that hurt me as a little girl at the time. Than the fact that the black girl and her mother rubbed it in my face was even worse.
