There's good news and there's bad news.
The good news is that Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have their daughters Sam (age 4) and Lola (age 3) in therapy.
The bad news is that those girls have Densise Richards and Charlie Sheen as parents!!!!!
The feuding ex's want the little ones to stay as 'unaffected as possible'.
Richards tells InTouch Weekly, "My kids are in therapy. It's very sad that they need to be there, but they do for now. On the other hand, it's good they have an outlet to deal with their feelings and someone who is just their advocate. If I can help anyone feel better about their kids being in therapy — then something else good has come of this, too."

Generally, in crazy situations like this, the custodial parent will be coaching the children to say things to the counselor. This will not only destroy the children but just shows how pathetic and emotionally screwed up the CP is. This is why the CP wants the other parent out of the picture. In some delusional thought, they think that this will ACTUALLY MATTER in their custody case. IT'S ALL ABOUT CONTROL.

i really like denise, i think she has been dealt a really bad hand and is too stubborn to listen to people about how to handle it in the press. her show is cute and it does make you see her in a different light but i think her best bet is to just stop talking about the richie and heather thing because that's where she looks the worst. after those voicemails came out there is no denying that charlie is a psycho in his personal life even if is fun to watch on camera

i have gone through a messy custody/divorce with my husbands ex-wife. he says…she says bullshit. we had to put the kids in therapy (at her insistance) and it basically just gave her more crap to rant on about. it did not help the kids one bit. in fact it hurt them. if denise is doing this to "help" them..then she should just keep her big mouth shut. and charlie too. its all the yappin and bad mouthing that hurts them. in the end with me..all three kids left their mother and moved in with us (9 years now) and refuse to see their mother..and why?…because we kept quiet and made our home a salvation for them instead of the battlefield she created. im just sayin…

Umm…I was put into therapy when I was a kid….it did not help me with anything, but thats just my experience….I can't see how little kids are going to somehow be better being forced to do one hour weekly sessions with a stranger.

i don't understand why it is "sad" b/c her children are in therapy, it is clearly probably the best thing she could be doing for them. it is interesting how she mentioned nothing of herself being in counseling, when again, it is clearly obvious she could benefit from some help. i'm so sick of the stigma that it is "sad" or your still not an equal to all other human beings because you reach out for some help. it is normal and healthy to do so and EVERYONE could benefit from having a therapist.
I want to clarify something. She said THERAPY… this does not mean that they're receiving any type of medication. It is sad that you all have to comment on how her kids don't need therapy… but therapy for children that age is not what you think and is basically playing games to get their feelings out… its not a lot of talking etc. and can do no harm for these children to have someone who is a professional (and a damn good one for that matter) to be on their side and out for THEIR best interests and their interests only.
I work in an inpatient children's psychiatric hospital. The children range from 2-17 and yes kids that young can get psychiatric meds! Crazy, Isn't it?
