Dr. Dre's Detox…Coming Soon?

On Wednesday, Snoop Dogg told our friends in Big Boy's Neighborhood on LA's Power 106 that he recently recorded tracks for Dr. Dre's highly anticipated and long-delayed new album, Detox.

Snoop said, "That record is real, it's coming. You know me, I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off. I see what he got them waiting for, it's on and poppin. He got records, he got heat."

Snoop Dogg confirmed the 10 years in the making project was finished and that Dre was selecting tracks for the album.

After all these years it better be good!

Sipping on gin and juice!

      I'm not really that into rap. But I have to say that this most likely will be a good one! Oh, I love other obbsessive compulsive people like myself. Just a small example of those who put out real music, not this prentend stuff. Dr Dre "music" is disposable compared to what was put out before them. Dre's "music" will not stand the test of time. In ten years, you won't hear what's put out today, you'll still hear what was put out before rap and hip hop became the norm. It samples from all the stuff that was put out before. I have spoken.

      First Detox and then Eminem..Let get it..Those 2 albums will set new records for first week sales..I will personally buy multiple copies of each and give them to friends just to help with album sales, because I can not stand any hip hop out right now..And I want these two talents to show all of these wack rappers how to created and sell GOOD MUSIC..Fuck dance music, atl getting crunk etc….We want the new Chronic..We want the new EM.

Work for the album dates back to early 2004, and he took a break to be a producer. THE ALBUM HAD INITIALLY BEEN SET FOR A 2005 RELEASE. Start checking your shit.

      Someone said that Dr. Dre is doing a rap opera and he is working with Tarja Turunen (formerly of Nightwish) to sing some backup tracks for the record. She has an amazing voice, so I am looking forward to that.
