Perez, it's true that smoking kills. But we smokers know, that's the point. We go out in public and get harassed by everyone yet if someone who drinks goes out in public and even hops into a car, the majority of the time no one says anything. Last I checked, no person smoking a cigarette and driving a car killed anyone. Last I checked, a man never beat his wife and kid because he smoked too many cigarettes. Last I checked, no one got fired because they showed up to a presentation too hung over because they had too many cigarettes.
Though if they pass this new company smoking ban, that might become more common. Just another way of having people control what you do on your own time.

there are tons of things that'll kill you faster. back in the day it was cool and rebellious to smoke. then, when everyone started doing it, it became less cool. You are not "too hard on smokers". I hate that celebs care so little about themselves and their influence that they get photographed smoking in public. It isn't cool anymore. Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer, killing more than breast, prostate, colorectal and pancreatic cancers COMBINED.
