Forget the rumors you might have heard!

Former Skid Row frontman (and our Celebrity Rap Superstar cohort) Sebastian Bach won't be joining Velvet Revolver.

He has, however, been contacted by current Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash (also of Guns and Roses fame) about working on a 'top secret project' together, reports the British music media.

Sounds like trouble!

Actually, it sounds like shit with lots of guitars!

I love Sebastian B. He is the real deal. He rocks. Love the edge he has and the rest of the bands better lick it up.

Can't wait to see him and the synergy he brings to any band.

Better get Ted Nugent to manage the whole thing if you can. He seems to be able to give Sebastian a tuneup when he needs it. At least that came across on the reality TV show he did with him.

Sebastian stayed at a hotel I used to work at when he did Jesus Christ Superstar. He got in a fight with the ATM machine in our lobby. He was very polite to me though.

I have to disagree Perez, this is real music. They don't have other people play their music and their voices are not edited to hell like the music of Miley/Jonas Brothers which is practically kareoke. Besides, mr Bach is Canadaian, I though you loved us Canuks Perez! I would love to see some of todays musicians try and do a live show having to play all of their own instruments.

Seriously? Slash is one of the best guitarists/artists in rock, so it wouldn't sound like shit. And for that matter, Sebastian Bach is a singer mostly, not a guitarist, so there wouldn't be "lots of guitars," either. Bach's pretty good - he was great in Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway - so the two of them together would probably be very cool.

For all those pussies who say rock sucks, go back to your mom's house and listen to soujaboy while trying to figure out who your dad is. Anyone who actually plays a real instrument is worthy of listing to. (Country sucks but atleast they can play). And yes there are hip hop/rappers that can play-they're all right. Anyway the combination of Slash/Velvet Revolver and Sabastian sounds interesting. Rather have Scott back with them, but hey gotta have that STP tour going!

You can diss Sebastian all you want, but about 15 years ago a 15 year old girl got in a car accident. Her best friend was driving and they hit a tree which came down on her head and gave her brain damage. She was a huge SkidRow fan. Once Sebastian heard about it, he came and saw her in the hospital, and brought her to a concert and sang to her on stage. He followed her progress for years. It meant so much to her family. He is a really good guy who got himself in trouble. I hope he gets a new gig, because he definitely earned his angel wings!!!

Wicked Witch Of The West is way off, experts say that classical artists would listen to bands like metallica etc. if alive today. Due to the complexity and the use of triads etc which gives music a dark sound. Sebastian is able to sing a couple of octaves more than most pop artists today.
pop music is aimed at 14 year old girls who are fickle and are likely to be into something else a week later. Compare the 2 genres to The difference between sitting down to a good book that might be hard to get into at first but ultimately rewarding, or a comic book that is read and forgotten about in a half hour..But i suppose this site is directed towards 14year old girls.

Back in the day Sebastian was a friend of mine and I will tell you this….he is one hell of a nice guy. He'd take the shirt off his back for you. The guy can sing his ass off, too. Unlike the "singers" today who are so over produced it's pathetic. I really could care less what Perez thinks…afterall, he supports Amy Winehouse–the WORST singer I have ever heard. Baz & Slash have a real talent…they don't rely on a bunch of suits sitting in an office to write their cream puff radio friendly songs for them. Rock and roll is the real deal.
