From Sweeney Todd to Terminator?

Helena Bonham Carter may be joining the cast of Terminator 4.

Sources say she is in talks to play the lead villain in the 4th installment to be called, Terminator Salvation.

The deal however, is not signed yet, but Tim Burton's wifey is in serious talks for the role say insiders.

What kind of villain will she play?????

    Did all the original ideas live and die in the 70's/80's?

    Here's a wrench in the cog…So, if these machines are so intelligent and formidable…why wouldn't they learn from the first few attempts of preventing John Connor from forming a rebellion? Hmm…trying to kill him doesn't seem to work….let's go back and stage some incident where it looks like these machines saved his life, thereby confusing him or at least delaying his push for this rebellion/alliance/whatever. I could write a COBOL program more sophisticated than this cookie cutter garbage.
