Last week I paid EURO 1,74 (!!!) per LITRE (!!!!!!). That's USD 10,50 for a gallon!!!!!!! Last December, when I was in Michigan, it felt like HEAVEN at the gas station….
In Canada our gas prices are much higher! In Ottawa, Ontario it converts to $5.08 a gallon and in Montreal, Quebec it converts to $5.61 a gallon. Wish our gas was so cheap!

Good. Gas prices have been artificially low in this country for far to long. Compared what the rest of civilized world pays 4.00 is cheap. There needs to be a major shift if how we choose to live our lives in this country. Mom does not need to drive a Yukon 50 miles each way to work because it looks good. Dad does not need to drive the F150 when the subway will take him to the same place.
Along with our conspicuous consumption we also need to address the failed economic policy of this administration. The weak dollar does nothing to stabalize futures of anything, be it oil, natural gas or agricultural intersest.

In Norway, one of the worlds largest exporters of oil and gas, one LITRE of gas costs $2.80, or $10.50 for a gallon. Stop whining!

I am sitting in an office right now where 17 out of 31 people drive SUV's. We barely get snow and there's not many hills. No one has ten kids either that they need to transport. The 21 year old kid who's summer help drives a brand new Tundra. Most of the family members of our employees drive SUV's as well. I drive a fucking Matrix because I live 30 miles away and watche the fucking news and SAW THE WRITING ON THE WALL. How fucking stupid is most of the US? Oops, I forgot. Stupid enough to vote for Bush once, and fucking mindless enough to vote him in again.
