We had a lovely chat about everything from his most recent troubles to Madonna, Matt Lucas, the Spice Girls, Mika, Pete Burns, David Bowie and more.
Oh, and George even played us a snippet of the new song he wrote inspired by Barack Obama - complete with lip synching and some choreography!

OK, Big G is looking good and acting real real nice. He's starting to remind me of why we fell in love with him in the first place - that voice, his raw natural effin ability to sing - the kinda stuff that moves you to the core. He is the grand master and the big potentate of that one. ANd he is right on about Amy Winehouse. What a tragedy.

Boy George is beautiful, talented, sincere and sensitive. He had some hard
times, but is a pure gentleman/woman. He is an artistic, unique individual.
I agree with Andy. I'm not fooled by George. He's talking a minute miles a minute. Poor Perez couldn't say anything. With that and the sunglasses, it seems like he's still on drugs. And saying Madonna is hard to live with and telling everyone about his ex-boyfriend's divorce. Who is he to talk! He's impossible and probably broken up with a million peopile. I really don't see why everyone thinks he's so great. He's still a selfish bitch. And his song was nothing special. He'd better come up with something better than that if he wants a comeback.

To James (119) Yep, George was wearing shades for most of the interview but whipped them off at the end, didn't he? No way he looked f'ed up… eyes super clear. He talks fast like that bec his mind is lightning fast. Its when he talks slow, you need to worrry. Dude has been clean and sober for a while now. Keep up.
Probably the best thing I've ever seen on this web site!! George looks and sounds fantastic. I'm disappointed to not be seeing him this month but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. The new song sounds like a classic. Great to see George concentrating on music again, he is a genius!!

I understand one's Visa issue as I have been denied entry into the UK 2 times over the past year. I am a 24 year old British Historian with a bunch of friends in Manchester. When I arrived last March to spend the summer bumming around with my friends (with $8,000 in my pocket) I was turned away at Manchester International Airport. I have been barred from my favorite country in the world!
And now they won't let my favorite artist of all time in MY country?!? How pissed am I? I spent over $200 to see him in Boston and now I'm screwed! How about the UK and US worry about illegal immigrants and terrorists instead of 24 year old college grads and 40 something entertainers! Let me have my voice b/c Im sick of listening!

I happened to also see George on the Today Show and he was not talking quickly like this and wearing sunglasses. He was totally different and much more normal.
George hasn't been to any kind of long term rehab. You can't just decide to get off drugs, you need some long term treatment.
