Christian Bale is one busy guy.
He has the premiere of The Dark Knight approaching this month and he's also starring in the new Terminator movie, out next year.
In a recent interview, Bale was asked whether there would be a possibility of a third Batman movie.
To that, Bale responded, "The possibility of doing another one is completely Chris Nolan's decision and if he's doing it, then absolutely."
Nolan is the film's director and co-writer.
Bale continues that Nolan's "presented himself with a huge challenge of surpassing this one I believe, and very much so with surpassing the Joker as a villain. You know, how do you up that? It's a very tricky thing to do. If anybody can do it, I think Chris can. So that's his choice."
You know Bale wants to cash in on a third film!
But, luckily for him, he has Terminator Salvation to make him even richer.
The film, being directed by McG, is due out next summer.
When asked about this movie, Bale says, "My feeling is that we have an opportunity and a responsibility and there's no point in making it if you don't achieve this of re-inventing that mythology and there's a great deal of potential for that, and that's what I'm attempting to do. Anything less than that would be us failing."

Christian Bale is THE shit. I will see any movie that has his name on it because I know 100% that it will be good. He is an amazing actor who I also believe is extremely under rated. Not to mention - he's gorgeous.

I am definitely going to see the midnight showing of The Dark Knight for Heath Ledger and Christian Bale. I will give Terminator some thought since Christian Bale will be playing John Connor. BUT the last Terminator movie was a cure for insomnia.

He's not only an incredible actor, (aside from Batman - think American Psycho and Equilibrium), he gives to a plethora of charities, loves animals, excellent horseman. He and Heath were close friends. Can't wait to see him in 2009 as John Connor in, "Terminator Salvation." Oh yeah……

Christian Bale is what god was striving for when he created man in his image. I will see anything he is in because looking at him is worth the price of admission.
Be very careful, Prez…I happen to adore Christian Bale.(LOL!) If you really want to appreciate just how talented he is, rent a movie called Empire of the Sun, by Steven Speilberg. Bale was barely 12 years old, and played opposite John Malkovich and Miranda Richardson in an amazing movie about a young British boy who was in love with airplanes. He gets separated from his parents in Shanghai, at the outbreak of WWII, and gets locked up in a prisoner of war camp by the Japanese. He has to learn to survive by his wits. Christian was totally brilliant. The movie was brilliant.Look at Empire, then look at American Psycho and you will see what an awesome actor you're talking about. I also love that he is so cool about talking about Heath Ledger, who cannot speak for himself.

Christian Bale is THE BEST ACTOR of my generation. He manages to be devoted to the craft of acting while maintaining a lasting marriage and a private life for his daughter, whose name he won't reveal. I'm a true BALE-head!!!!! I'll see anything he does, first night opening.

Christian is on the front cover of GQ AGAIN this August….!!!!! I have every movie he has ever been in…and I never tire of seeing all of them. He is the greatest actor out there…an actor's actor…so it's nice to see everyone else after these past several years now recognize that.
