According to new reports, New Kids on the Block recorded a song last week with fellow 80's boyband supergroup, New Edition, minus the most infamous member - the former Mr. Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown.
Song producer Nadir "RedOne" Khawat says, "Donnie Wahlberg had this idea for a few months, since New Kids had the idea of getting back together really. Donnie's been looking for that one track for all of them and I think we found it."
The ensemble track, titled Full Service, will appear on NKOTB's not-yet-titled upcoming album.
The song was written by Wahlberg, Khawat, and New York disco diva Lady GaGa, who is performing at our huge 4th of July bash at Prive in Las Vegas on Friday.
New Edition's Ralph Tresvant recently addressed the rumors that the two bands have been feuding for years, saying, "The thing people were going back and forth with was we'd been doing what we were doing for the longest [but] we couldn't get cartoons and things that the white guys were getting. It was like, 'wow'. But the guys themselves, we have mad love."
We can't wait to hear the song!

Re: david – Hello have you kept up with them New Kids have sold out and several cities. They are still very much loved!!! Guys made fun of them in the day and they will still but, who cares they have about a million women still getting hot and bother by them, something that you my dear Dave could not even achieve with one woman!!!!

I can't wait for this one. I am a huge fan of both group growing up so this should be interesting. Perez you could have put a better pic of New Edition up. You realize they don't look like that anymore….
My favorite groups - back and back together - nothing could be better!!!! NE never broke up but their last album was bout 2002, right? - so really they are being brought back! I wonder what Maurice Starr thinks about this?

New edition have been back together for years! been touring together since the home again tour over 10 yrs ago. OLD NEWS LOSER!
New Edition has been performing without Bobby Brown for years. But they make appearances together every now and again. Bobby was like a wayward child. I don't blame them for not including him the song.
