It must be Angelina Jolie madness in Paris today.
Reports are now surfacing that Jolie's doctor, Michel Sussmann, says her twins will most likely be delivered "in the weeks to come."
Ange is currently in the hospital - only under surveillance, he stressed, - not due to any medical emergency.
Her doctor continues, "Her hospitalisation at this stage of her pregnancy is strictly normal for someone who underwent a caesarean in her first pregnancy.
Just think about it…
In less than a few weeks, Brangelina will have 6 kids!

I don't belive it is "normal" for someone to be in the hospital to stay for a period of time or weeks before giving birth - whether prior C-Section or not. Something else is going on. I wish her and the babies well.

Being a Labor and Delivery nurse, I KNOW that they don't admit you just because you had a previous c-section with twins. That's absurd. They ONLY admit you that early if you are experiencing health concerns such as HTN, pre-clampsia, abruption, or anything that is threatening to the mother and/or children. I have had hundreds of patients carrying twins that want or need a section and are admited to the hospital on the EXACT day they are born.
It's truly amusing they lies people tell. She is in there because of health concerns and is in danger NOT BECAUSE OF "OBSERVATION"
So they're bringing another couple of bastards into the world. How clever!

That's NOT normal to be in the hospital a few weeks prior to birth just because she had a previous c/s. Her doctor is lying! If she's not due to deliver in a couple of days, there is something going on that's put her there on bedrest. If going to the hospital a few weeks prior to birth because of a previous c/s is normal, well I'd be there now.
Why all the drama? a helicopter ride? 70 million palace, 3 press releases and a press conference.

Odd….my first daughter was delivered by C-SECTION, after 27 hours of labour, not out of laziness or not wanting to push her out, it was medically necessary. My second daughter was born via C-SECTION and I only went to the hospital on the day my surgery was scheduled. I wasn't in there weeks before. I think that's crap.
Angelina is a spoiled brat. She grew up in Hollywood and stayed the same spoiled brat.
No one needs to stay in a hospital before giving birth (and no one needs 4 rooms and 4 nannies, and a helicopter ride to te hospital).

yes this is old news. I think E entertainment had the exclusive. I was very surprised all day yesterday nothing on Perez or TMZ. But I can't wait till the babies are born- I am so excited for them. Attention seeker is an understatement.
Only the rich and the famous can afford to hike their ass to the hospital weeks in advance for preliminary care. The rest of us working folks get thrown out by about day 2 after delivery, whether you feel better or not. The Jolie-Pitts should be embarrassed to broadcast this when many Americans can't even afford healthcare. I hope they stay in Paris forever!

To add to my previous post to all those out there that are hating and saying that there is no need for 2 week hospital stay, press releases etc. You must have forgot that this is Pitt-Jolie not some regular loser. Why wouldn't they need the upmost care and control for the most anticipated births in probably the last few centuries. Bottom line is losers and regualar people are kicked out of hospitals after a day or two because there are just too many of them. Ask yourself if you had a hundred dollar bill would you keep that with the lowly ones and fives? I think not. Nothing here is out of the ordinary including all the jealousy and complaining in this forum.

Wrongo! You do not need to go stay in the hospital & rest weeks ahead of time just because you are a repeat c-section. NORMALLY, you would be admitted on your scheduled surgery date, unless you go into labor sooner or have a health concern. She is either in labor, something is wrong, or she is just being the usual self-absorbed person that she is & looking for attention.

I smell publicist B.S. You don't go into the hospital uless you're having the babies or there are complications. I have twins, and I'd had a prior c-section, but I wasn't put into the hospital until I was two days away from having the babies (even with complications). So my guess is that the next members of the Brangelina brood will be here in the next couple of days if they're not here already.
I just love that Brad, Angie and the children!!!! Yeah, I am so excited about the arrival of the twins. Both Brad & Angie are lovely couple and the best actors.

UMMM, that is NOT NORMAL! Something is wrong.
I have 2 sets of twins ( 2 c-sections ). I was hospitalized the day I had the C-sections and the following days, never before. If she's in the hospital, they're trying to help keep the babies in her longer. She may have hypertension, gest. dia., Pre-clampsia, etc.

I have had TWO c sections, and I'm scheduled for a third in a few weeks… guess what?? I'm at home, chasing my kids around, doing everything the same. I'm not on bed rest and I'm sure as hell not in the hospital! Sounds like someone wants a little more attention… I mean, who calls a press conference to say basically 'nothing'?! These two need to get over themselves. Go have your babies in PRIVATE like normal people do. There's really no need for the circus they like to create.
