It sux. I understand why she would want to do something new with it, but unfortunately it now sounds like every other crappy song out there. The lighthearted poppy-ness and quirkiness of the original is seriously missing, which is what made it so great and why that song still holds up today. But no doubt it will be a hit with the 5-year-olds who worship her.
