Conservative political commentator Rush Limbaugh struck a mighty rich renewal deal with Clear Channel!
The radio giants are paying the Right's top media man $400 million to host his conservative talk show ’til 2016.
Limbaugh reaches an audience of nearly 20 million listeners. His program is syndicated on about 600 radio stations nationwide.
In a recent magazine interview, Limbaugh shows off his biz acumen. He says, “First and foremost I’m a businessman. My first goal is to attract the largest possible audience so I can charge confiscatory ad rates. I happen to have great entertainment skills, but that enables me to sell airtime.”
So he just riles people up for the money?

The sad thing is that I needed to get accurate and fair information on election results and what was going on in the democratic party. Unfortunately, Fox News was the only place to get it. CNN, NBC, and MSNBC (Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews) were just too biased in their coverage of the democratic primaries and their love affair with Barack Obama. I have renounced my affilation to the democratic party and the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Kerry, Howard Dean and all the Kennedys thanks for making me see the light Rush.

That American dream that liberals seem to think isn't attainable? Rush got there. $400 million isn't bad for a college drop-out. But that takes effort, so I can understand why most of you can't understand it. Achievement is hard. It takes, like, effort and time, and… you know, like… stuff.
