Honestly, I'm not really feeling it…I feel like they are trying TOO hard to look different, but that their music is nothing revolutionary–in fact, I think most of the song sounded like that Jet song "cold hearted bitch," which in turn just sounds like AC/DC. So…they're going to have to try a little harder to get my attention…

I saw these guys in Chicago in April. They were scary to say the least. A few of their songs weren't that bad but it's clear that the lead singer is obsessed with Bowie. Plus, he's really gross on stage. He said the word cunt on stage so much that it got old real quick. He was trying to shock people by saying that word 200 times but he just looked like a kid in high school trying to be cool.

This band will be huge within the next 6-8 months. Their entire album (to be released in Sept. 08, IIRC) is great and they are one of the best live bands I have seen.

People are only writing about this band because Alan McGee is their manager (aka the man who discovered Oasis and The Libertines). Kate Moss went to their show because she is very good friends with McGee… I wouldn't be surprised if he had paid you for this mention Perez.
