Yesterday afternoon we predicted that we would see Madonna and Guy Ritchie out to a very public dinner together last night.
And that's exactly what happened!
Amidst the incessant swirl of divorce rumors, her Madgesty and hubby had a romantical date together at Italian restaurant 'Cesca in NYC on Tuesday.
Look, they're even holding hands! That must mean they're still in love, right??? Ha!

Interesting how he's carrying what I can only hope is her (and not his) bag. On the stay together side, these two have a family together, they have history, and they both seem like decent human beings. No one can ever know what happens inside a marriage, except the folks in that relationship (if even them!) - not their shrink, not his mother, not her best friend, and definitely not the blog community or the speculative public. I hope that they do what's best for them and their children. Maybe a little time out of the public eye would be helpful after Madonna finishes up with the publicity and touring for Hard Candy.

My take on the bag carrying is that he doesnt want the divorce and she does and by him carrying it, it puts him in a submissive position trying to do anything to win her back. As a 10 year married woman, there are 2 instances only when my husband will carry my bag. #1 when my hands are full of kids or #2 when I am rearranging things I am carrying. Both instances last less than 10 seconds.

Finally, this idea that Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting a divorce is preposterous. But it’s stirred up interest in them, without a doubt. And this is why: Not only does Madonna have a lot riding on her fall tour, but Ritchie has directed a feature film, called "RocknRolla," due from Warner Bros. on Oct. 31. After numerous flops, Guy needs a hit.
In other words: We are being subjected to a summer-long PR campaign surrounding this couple just to build interest in them. Enough, already! Oh, yeah, is it working? Well, now you know about the film and the tour. I guess it is. Brilliantly.
