Wesley Snipes must have some good lawyers working on his behalf!

A judge has granted Snipes' request for permission to travel to London and Bangkok for 'work'.

Interesting note — Snipes' lawyers are arguing that the judge in the case made several errors before and after his February conviction.

Is allowing Wes permission to go abroad an 'i'm sorry' from the judge?

The Feds will likely appeal this decision.

Hop on a plane now, Snipes!

The cool thing about being the Judge is not having to say your "sorry". Get a clue (or at least better legal consultants).

Re: jeff – Seriously…Perez, you need to either focus on your website or focus on the ever dwindling 15 minutes of fame that you have received as a result of your site. TMZ has virtually every bit of news prior to you. Go smoke a pole.

"Wesley Snipes must have some good lawyers working on his behalf!"

No, it's because he has a good case! The us Federal income tax is an unlawful racket.

Good - let him earn some money so he can pay back the government what he owes! He can make millions working as an actor, which is a lot better than the dollar a day he'll earn doing laundry in prison. Win-win for everyone.

I don't think it's so much an "I'm sorry" as it is a "we won't tie your hands while you go make the tax money you owe so the IRS gets PAID."

Because the judge Knows that the charge against him will not hold up in supreme court. And to deny a able working man would be more of an injustice than him not paying his taxes on income which is every citizens option to pay and is protected by the 16th Ammendment

The errors they are arguing are standard and necessary to appeal and case. It can be an error of law, or laws, made by the jury, the attorneys, and yes, even the judge. An error of law is considered any misstep during the trial, such as giving the jurors unclear instructions, allowing evidence to be submitted that shouldn't have been, etc. Errors are the only way to appeal, and if it is proved there were in fact errors made in the trial, they are granted a new trial. You don't have to be a lawyer to know this.
