Former 'glamour' model and aspiring Olympian Jordan Katie Price and husband Peter Andre brought the British rag News of the World to their knees on Thursday.

According to reports, the duo accepted substantial damages and a public apology from the paper after the tabloid newspaper falsely claimed they were uncaring parents.

Price read from a statement outside the courthouse:

"Pete and I love our kids and would do anything for them…Anyone who has kids can imagine how it would feel to be accused publicly of being bad parents. We came here today to see that justice was done and that our names were cleared…Now that the paper has accepted the story wasn't true, apologised to us, and paid us damages and our costs, we believe the record has been set straight and our names have been cleared."

Congrats!

      I am british and they are NOT bad parents! if you watch their reality show they ALWAYS have their children with them and Katie is constantly looking after Harvey, get your facts right before you speak everyone. They were cleared by the courts so how come you think you are right?

And don't give me any of that, if your life was taped and edited… because if my life was taped and edited, my kids would be by my side in every damn clip!       I've never heard of her taking drugs when she was pregnant but I have heard about how she's flown Harvey all over the world to the best doctors, how she's patient with him even though he has violent tantrums, and how she hardly ever left his side all those times he's been in hospital……. but I don't know them and neither do you.

      First of all Americans are not stupid or at least not all are, Generalizing is stupid. I have met some retarded brits but I don't think all British people are stupid.

      Harvey is blind not deaf, and he suffers from a genetic disorder that has nothing to do with Kate doing anything to cause it.

      Kate has never had any tummy tucks. She has had 4 boob jobs, 1 nose job, 2 sets of veneers and she once had lipo done.

      The show that was on in America is way different different than the one the aired in the UK. They took a hour show and edited down to a half hour. They are both great parents, he has won father of the year and she has won mother of the year.

      Libel rulings are complicated - when a newspaper pays out and apologises it doesn't necessarily mean that the story was wrong. Sometimes their lawyers just consider it the most efficient way to deal with an action.

      Kate Moss took several libel actions agains newspapers for suggesting she did drugs - and they paid out too. Doesn't mean a thing.

      Jordan isn't a great mother. She drank, took cocaine and used sunbeds during her pregnancy. Maybe that led to her son's disability, maybe it didn't but it's not a responsible thing to do is it?

      Her disabled child has been hospitalised several times due to neglect. He is hugely overweight and fed on a diet of junk food. They also pimp their children out to magazines for money.

      Re: LucyR – Harvey has never been hospitalized for neglect. The reason he is in and out of hospital is because his condition causes allot of problems. He has a hormones deficiency, he also has optic dysplasia and he is autistic. He is only over weight because of his hormone deficiency. When a condition is genetic it means you or your partner or both have a defective gene it has nothing to do with environment, and besides who really can prove she did all of that while pregnant.
