If it is true, very sad. It could just be set up to look like it to create drama. As a sunbstance abuse counselor, his behavior on this first 4 episides could mean a few things (because he is so out of it and impulsive, lacking focus, emotionally all over the map, inappropriate in his interactions …like so close and touchy feely with his new assistant right away). He could either be on drugs again indeed (which is very possible), or he could simply have lasting neurological effects from all the drugs he has done. Sad either way.

I have to share something rather embarrassing, but this is a true story! I didn't even learn the correct names of these two Coreys until about a week ago. All these years I thought Corey Haim was Corey Feldman and vice versa. How could I have been mistaken about something so vitally important to the civilized world! I was so astonished when Senor Flabtacular cleared it up for me a week or so ago. It's just so amazing all the fascinating tidbits you can pick up by cruising the interwebs. :marvels:

I have seen all of the episodes of the new season, and it's rather sad. Haim seems to be emotionally stunted by his former (current?) drug use. He rants about things that are irrelavent and manipulates every situation to his benefit. I really hope he finds a way to get himself together because he seems so lonely and sad, I feel for him.

It could be painkillers (oxy) since he was addicted to heroin, and both are opiates. Maybe zanax? Who knows. All I know is that "legal" drugs are just as destructive as "illegal" ones. Seems to be working now, though now I've seen it, I wish I hadn't.

I'm about the same age as these guys, so I remember what he was like in his heyday. I first saw him in "Lucas" in 1986ish and remember thinking then, wow - not only is this kid adorable and so endearing; but he seemed to have the rare quality of being able to convey a depth in his eyes beyond his years. Seeing him now - so empty…I dunno… is so heartbreaking. I feel for him and hope he can get out of his own way and really open himself up to the help he so obviously is crying out for. It looks to me from watching the couple of episodes that he never completely got off the drugs and he even looks like Jeff from Celebrity Rehab and it seems as if hes going down that same road. Seems as if Feldman has become the better of the two and is going down a good path(although on Surreal Life he acted like a little bitch). As much as I wish all drug users could just kick the habit overnight, this a really good example of how hard it is to stop using drugs. I kinda feel back for Corey Haim. He's so incredibly dependent on them and he's says that he feels bad for everyone he's hurt and all the relationships that he's ruined and that he doesn't ever want to do those things again, but he doesn't realize that he's doing the same thing over and over again, and he doesn't realize it until it's too late when he's regretting it later. I fear that if he keeps doing this, he's going to piss so many people off, the work that he's getting now (which is barely anything) will turn into nothing, and no one will want to have anything to do with him, including Corey Feldman.

Well, if that is the case I feel sorry for him, my thoughts are with him and I hope he gets the help he needs. The thing with addiction is that most people who are addicts try, fail, and relapse many times before sobriety actually sticks (and even then it only does in about 1 out of 4 cases). Look at Robert Downey Jr., it took him years and years of struggling and relapsing to FINALLY get it together and get sober and now his life is so turned around and he is doing tremendously well. I wish the best for Corey Haim and hope he is (as these shows were typically recorded quite some time ago) or will get help and that it works. You hate to see someone waste their lives and their talents on drugs.
