Tara Reid's agent fans (all four of them) have started a petition to 'help' the hasbeen land a major role in the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street remake.

Here's what the petition says:

To: Platinum Dunes
We feel young hollywood actress Tara Reid deserves a role in the upcoming Platinum Dunes remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street. She is a very talented and intelligent actor, we feel a a major role, in a major film will help revive her acting career. We feel she would be a truly great addition to the cast. Please truly consider her for a part, and check out how many people would love to see her in you're film.

      If you don't like the concept of the website then don't contribute to the monthly hits which contribute to the ad revenue and promotional opportunities Mr. Perez gets for running a popular site.

      I personally don't really see a problem with the site for the one and only reason that it only repeats news that's already heard (or will be heard) elsewhere, anyway. It isn't like anything private is actually getting revealed, here.       People who have never met Tara hate her because they see themselves in Tara's worst behavior (being drunk, partying too hard, and other things that most people do at some point in their lives, even if they don't have the courage to admit it to others). Rather than face their own self-hatred or self-contempt, they take the coward's way out and "project" their fears on to Tara, calling her childish and often vicious names, which itself is proof that the person they are really disgusted or angry with is THEMSELVES. It's like a scapegoat or a sacrificial lamb; the tribe yells, "That person is the unclean one, drive her off the cliff so we can act like we are superior!" I have several good female friends who are no strangers to getting drunk and making bad choices on a night out, and guess what? And even if it's true that she is not the best actress in Hollywood, isn't the fault of the producers and directors who hire her?
