Come on! If no one helped animals where would we be?? Yes there are a lot of people that need help AND there is a lot of help for them out there. There are way less people helping animals… If you don't agree with donating to animals then DONT.. but I would bet money that you aren't donating to people either.
This is a really good cause, animals are completely helpless and need us to stand up for them.

Great cause Perez! I've seen it first hand and it is appalling and gut wrenching. And as to Meme's comment (we have thousands of homeless people…donate wisely), that's an ignorant comment. It is precisely because of selfish people like you that nobody in PR takes care of the animals. What makes a human life so much more valuable than that of a feeling, seeing, smelling, etc. animal?? Just because it cant speak and tell you its thoughts doesnt mean it cant feel the pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus - people in america have AMPLLLEEE opportunities to go find jobs - dogs, depend on us and our compassion!

I'm so sick of hearing about how people can help themselves and animals are helpless, so they need more donations. Bullshit. What the hell do u think babies are? Do you think a baby can take care of him or herself? What about the severely mentally handicapped or those with an incurable disease? I love animals and agree they shouldn't be abused, but come on people! And, for the record, animals aren't completely defenseless..they have teeth and can rip a mofo apart if necessary, however, a baby, not so much

I know…I get so sick of people saying donate to the people not animals. Whatever!! If that's your thing then do it, but my thing is taking care of these poor, defenseless cats and dogs that can't help themselves. They do the best they can to survive but they so desperately need our help.

A helpless animal cannot defend itself from a blow to the head from a bat, or a cigarette burn, or a Gunshot, or being drowned by a human, or being thrown against a wall so hard they die from internal bleeding,or from starving to death, or attacked by another animal, or hit by a car, etc. etc. etc. Animals are completely innocent and only want to do one thing……PLEASE THEIR GODDAMN OWNER!!! It's humans that need to F___ing take responsibility and control animal overpopulation by getting their pets spayed or neutered. Millions of pets are euthanized because pet owners don't do the right thing. It's even FREE at most shelters to get an animal fixed. Geez people. Grow up!! Be responsible.
