If anyone has bothered to listen to any of their recent music, gone to any of their concerts, or read any relevant and recent news about them, they would know that Oasis is still one of the greatest rock bands ever. Even their b-sides compilation shames any "big" American rock acts.
Listen to The Masterplan, Songbird, or Let There Be Love and see how those compare to whatever shit that's been on American Top40s lists.
