The rumored Friends movie isn't happening, and her FX show, Dirt, has been cancelled.
Thankfully, for Courteney Cox, though, she's hoping to turn the Friends curse around.
The sitcom alum has just signed on to appear in several episodes of Scrubs this coming season, which will see the show on ABC and not its longtime home of NBC.
Cox is on board for three-episode arc as Sacred Heart’s new Chief of Medicine. Her character will "ruffle feathers."
Don't ruffle too much, though. You might jinx the show!

It pisses me off that Dirt was cancelled. One of the most promising and best shows I've seen on Basic Cable for awhile. Hopefully, she'll create and produce some more hits!

Scrubs is almost painfully unfunny. However, I don't see how she could jinx a show that's in it's last season… unless the jinx kept the show on the air another year or longer. Ugh.

Friends wasn't even good enough to deserve a "curse". Anybody who says the characters of a show are cursed is comparing that show to Seinfeld, and Friends will never be anywhere near Seinfeld in comic genius. I mean, the actors werent even comics, and they didn't write the show either. None of them deserve careers. Every movie that dude that played Ross was in was a total piece of crap and the box office stats prove it. And he was the only one that even got close to do anything good.

I have always thought that Dave is a lucky guy. And Scrubs is one of the best shows on TV right now, and on top of that, is one of the best ever.

Well, praise the lord there'll be no Friends, or spinoffs thereof. The only better news would be to hear would be that there will never, ever be anything on television related to Beverly Hills 90210 or even remotely similar.

ANyway, I loved Dirt and seeing her as a bitch was awesome. I will miss that show and thought the endind of the shortened second season left a lot to be desired - LIKE A THIRD SEASON!!!!!
I love Scrubs. I'm excited about next season. I liked Friends too, but I'm totally infatuated with Scrubs. Oh, and Dirt totally sucked so good riddance. Good luck, Courtney, i hope your character on Scrubs will be at least as funny as Monica. Looking forward to the new season.
