   Read the article you attached. It specifically says "we are not boycotting Hyatt" only the Manchester property. Most people won't click on the article, so it's mis leading!!! Be more careful….

   Mr. Doug Manchester owns The Grand Hyatt San Diego, is a co owner of The Grand Hyatt La Jolla, and also owns a new resort The Grand Del Mar. It's funny that he does this to promote good values when I heard from a friend that he was banned from many private clubs in San Diego because he requested happy endings from the masseuses.

   There's a difference between freedom of speech and hate speech. The owner of Manchester Hyatt is stupid! Donate that money to charities or something. But no! You want to give the money to people who take away your right to marry the person you love.

    Just boycott the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Hyatt Hotels itself is great to gays and even won a travel award from PlanetOut.com. It is the idiot owner of the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego that paid $125,000 to the campaign to add a constitutional amendment on the Nov. 4 ballot to ban Gay Marriage in California. What a dick!

    No, no there is not. And BTW just because someone doesn't agree with the homosexual lifestyle, doesn't suddenly mean that their is hate in their life. That would be you projecting thoughts and feelings that simply don't belong.

    So lets see. Even if the Hotel loses say 2-4% of it's gross (That's about the amount of homosexuals compared to heterosexuals) You really think you'll even make a dent?

    That they will even notice your boycott?

    If anything, it might bring MORE people to the place.

    I work at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and its the most diverse company I've ever worked for. All of the homosexual and heterosexual co-workers that I know are very happy because they are treated and appreciated equally there. In my department I actually have more homosexual bosses than heterosexual ones. Mr. Manchester has a right to his own personal beliefs and they have not affected the hotel or its staff.

    Hyatt has an excellent rep and long-standing history in the LGBT community. 100% rating given by HRC last year! i have worked for this company for 8 years and know FROM THE INSIDE that this is a company that believes in RESPECT and DIGNITY for ALL! Perez, you need to retitle this article, if you are going to send out BOYcots, let's start with some companies that actually deserve it.
    Yeah, Doug Manchester is dumb-ass, but actually a 125K donation is nothing to him,,,

    Hyatt is owned by the Pritzker family, but they only have naming and managing rights to the properties. Majorities of the buildings are OWNED privately, they are only managed by Hyatt. So in relations to this article, it is the owner of the hotel, not the Hyatt company itself, that is against same-sex marriages. Hope this clears that up…

    Tom whom am I discriminating against? BTW I am ALL FOR gays getting similar rights and heterosexuals. (they already have EQUAL rights now, but that's a different story) But you also have to understand people also have the freedom when they own property and do with it as they please within the law.

    I may not agree with what a person says, but I agree that person should have the right to say it.

    Being tolerant isn't accepting a person's lifestyle or belief system.

    Being tolerant is how you treat the very people you disagree with. And if you belittle people and trying to perform an character assassination on them simply because they don't share your same belief system, well that's not very tolerant of you. Some might describe said actions as being very bigot like.

    If you don't agree with the way a place does it's business, don't go. But you don't have to make character assassinations along the way.
