According to a new report, Lance Bass might be part of Dancing With the Stars next season.
Looks like DWTS is where the former boy banders go to get a new lease on celeb life!
Sources also say that Bass might be paired with a MALE pro.
That would be SOOOO hot hot hot.
But, we don't think ABC has the balls to follow that one through!

In the norwegian one they had a transvestite teamed up with a female pro (which makes sense, since most transvestites are straight), and s/he did most of the dances in womens clothing. That was actually kinda cool.

Dancing isn't set up to score same-sex partners, I doubt they'll pair him up with a dude. It would probably put them at a disadvantage because the dances demand different things from the male and female participants. They'd be setting him up to fail.
Plus most of the pro male dancers on that show are gay and they don't get paired up with men - we all know they're gay, though, which doesn't change a thing to the programming. Big deal.

I would be thrilled if this happened, but I agree with Perez that ABC probably won't have the balls to do this. They tout DWTS as family entertainment… and likely will not want to alienate all the bible thumpers; still, ABC/Disney has a pretty good record supporting Gay rights so let's hope rhis is true.
