The fact that there is a resemblance between the two shows that, not only does Dita do a good job, she absolutely belongs among those great beauties.

I agree that Dorian Leigh has a certain influence on Dita's appearance but I think that Betty Page also plays a major role. i wouldn't call it a rip off, just one of the influences. Everyone has idols.

They just don't make them like that anymore! By lowering the height requirement it results in true beauties. There are so few beautiful women who are over 5'10". She reminds me of an early Shalom Harlow. Models like Heidi Klum, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer & even Christie Brinkley never had that elegant aristocratic air about them. In Hollywood & Modeling agencies, the standard took a dive after the 50's.

I'm sorry but most of you posting how she looks just like Dita are the typical fooled masses. Dita has the same 'style'. There's no way Dita has this elegant bone structure & poise. Dita is alright looking but she cannot be classified as a beauty, like this woman was. That reminds of how some people say Gwyneth Paltrow is beautiful. She's not. So many people are fooled by hairstyles and clothing. Most people (unless they and their families are truly attractive) just look at superficial things and not really at a person's bone structure. When I have commented on how beautiful Queen Latifah is, people look at me strangely. Sure, she's a large, black woman but if you really look at her face, it is exquisite. Very symmetrical with gorgeous cheekbones. How many people do you know who can wear their hair pulled off their face and look that good?
