Shattering Her Comeback Dream

As we previously mentioned, Tara Reid's hardcore fans (all 3 of them) started a petition to persuade producers (Platinum Dunes) of the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street remake that Terrorific is the woman for a lead role.

Well, hardcore horror fans can't stomach the thought of seeing Reid in the remake, so they've started their own petition to keep Tara out!

It reads:

To: Platinum Dunes
We feel young hollywood actress Tara Reid DOES NOT deserves a role in the upcoming Platinum Dunes remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. After starring in ALONE IN THE DARK back in 2005, we feel that her career has gone south and her presence would not only hurt the quality, but the success of the film - which would hurt the horror genre in the long run. Check out how many people agree with me that she should NOT star in the film, or eve make a cameo…

    Worst actress ever…not to mention she appears to be a c*nt to interviewers. She doesn't deserve this. Many actors have had to resurrect their careers by starting in lesser known movies. She sucks so bad she can't even get those. The only reason she got her minor role in 'American Pie' is she was kind of attractive back then. Not so now.

    They should get Heather Langencamp (Original Nancy) to play Nancy's mother. I wonder if the character of Nancy will be updated to be a fake titted bleach blond whore so she'll be more believable to the youth today.

    I usually dont get into battles like this because the studio is going to do what it wants to do. But, I signed the DO NOT petition because it's bad enough that they are remaking a classic (because apparently there isn't a fresh idea out there anymore). But, to put Tara Reid in would automaticly send this puppy straight to DVD and that would be a HUGE shame.
