A settlement has been reached in the bitter Christie Brinkley divorce trial.
After more than a week of testimony, proceedings halted yesterday.
Lawyers for Brinkley and her ex, Peter Cook, spent ALL NIGHT hashing out an agreement.
They finally came to terms at 6:00 A.M. this morning.
And, by all accounts, it seems like Brinkley has come out victorious. The main obsticle to a settlement, will remain as is. Current arrangement allows Cook to see his children every Wednesday and on alternating weekends, as well as additional time during the summer.
Cook conceded substantial ground in the asset portion of the trial in order to bring the ordeal to an end.
Both parties are expected to finalize the new deal in court this morning.
Yay. More closure!

that's not true. there's no way he would have gotten full custody with so much going against him. the only difference is the court would've heard it and not the rest of the world. so it was unnecessary for any of it to be made public. she did what she wanted to do to embarrass him at the expense of their children. it was very short sighted of her to do so. as bad as he is, she is just as bad.
