I saw Damn Yankees yesterday, and it was wonderful. Cheyenne was absolutely gorgeous and he has an amazing voice. I was kind of praying he was straight throughout the whole thing, because I really didn't know much about him. I met him at the stage door afterward, got an autograph, and talked to him a bit and I was really still questioning it: he didn't set off my gaydar at all. Then I got home and googled him and found out that he was out and open. Damn! Why do you guys get all the good ones?!
BTW, I also met Sean Hayes before the show. He was running into the theater late, at about 1:30, and I bumped into him on West 56th Street. He was so sweet and willing to sign autographs, even though he was very, very late. Just two words out of his mouth, though, and I needed no confirmation. That man is as gay as Christmas. And who couldn't realize that from his portrayal of Jack? But if he wants to keep his private life private, good for him. Why should he officially come out?
