Mel - I don't think Perez meant it as a slam towards latinos. He's referring to the fact that he's a celebrity but still got a degree. How many celebs do that nowadays? They just live off their money and couldn't care less about furthering their careers or life goals. James should be applauded for getting a degree and not just sitting back and using his celeb status to further his life.
