My guess as to how it happened, based on reading the thread at the original link in Perez's post. At that forum (see original link), hacker TrainReq admits to being over at her house visiting her brother. I imagine he simply went to her computer, and her email program was already open. Then TrainReq only had to go to the "change password" section, and he could read all of her email later. It doesn't sound like he did much of a l33t hacker job, just that they were careless. I'm sure if Miley and her brother thought about it, they probably could figure out exactly who this TrainReq person is, especially Miley's brother. See the original linked thread for TrainReq's comments, in which he gives hints as to visiting her brother.

***Which reminds me!!!*** When I was a freshman in high school (in the 90's) the 3 most popular cheerleaders had a pic surface of the 3 of them in the shower ……. they didn't get in trouble or even ragged on…..to this day I don't know who was the 4th person who took the photo or why it was even developed… but it was and it was posted in the main hallway at school….. times have changed, but TEENAGERS don't….it's all about discovering this nasty old world!!
