Give 'Til It Hurts

Is Madonna only donating money to Kabbalah centers and groups associated to the religion?
It seems that way according to past tax filings.
Madonna founded her nonprofit Ray of Light Foundation back in 1998. It was created to help benefit health charities along with music and kid-related ones.
But, since 2001, over $5.1 million has been donated from her organization to Kabbalah - decreasing the amount of funds she's given out to her other charities.
According to IRS filings, since the time of her involvement with Kabbalah, only $1.3 million have been given to non-Kabbalah organizations.
Before 2001, Ray of Light was contributing to more than 20 charities, such as the Helen Keller Services to the Blind and the T.J. Martell Cancer and Leukemia Foundation, as well as to a church in Michigan, her home state.
We doubt that church is still getting any money!
Between 1998 and 2000, Madge donated $264,622 to those various organizations. But then in 2001 she made her first large donation od $1.24 million to Kabbalah.
The next year, her foundation gave out $2.1 million to charities. $1,994,157 of that was given to Kabbalah.
And, in 2003 and 2004 Kabbalah again took over 90% of her donations.
In 2005 and 2006 most of the donations again went to Kabbalah.
Overall, her Madgesty has given away millions of dollars to the religion. Let's hope she's still got millions left to give.
They seem like they take a lot!

Who the fuck cares?
I love the old Madonna.. I cant stand her now but Atleast shes donating to charities..
It's the Jewish version of Scientology…………
Re: Ittyb – Yes! This is the most brilliantly apt statement. Kaballah is the Jewish version of Scientology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vadge makes her brother starve and get evicted from his apartment because he can't pay the rent- whilst giving millions to Kabbalah- trying to suck up to the Rabbis to save her soul.
Who complains about money being donated to anything charity in general. Shouldn't a person be allowed to donate ones money as they see fit without being scrutinized over it? Every little bit counts and just because you have a few more dollars (or even millions) then someone else does not mean you are obligated to give it to any[thing/one] you do not wish to or in quantities that others see fit. It would seem to stem from a mentally deficient disorder to think different.
first of all kabbalah is not a religion its a way of life
if you really think about and get out of the 1present ther is no way it is a cult even if it is does it really matter its trying to change people so there not self centered ego maniacs=]
