The photo agency that took this pic tells us that she was "twitching a lot."

So sad.

Leave her alone — she looks fine, and really, if she is sick, then give her space to enjoy the time she has left. If she wants to tell people she is sick, that is her choice and hers alone…..you are not entitled to know anything. The shaking is probably just essential tremors. As they get older certain people start to develop shaking when they are performing intricate gestures (such as holding a coffee cup). The tremors usually get much worse as the years go on. In certain situations the tremors can get worse or calm down (eg: stressful or leisurely situations).

I just recently had the pleasure of meeting Shirley in Malibu and I have to say that she seemed absolutely "normal" (whatever that means for her) in terms of her mental awareness and overall physical appearance.
