Jordan wants to be the next Madonna, minus the infidelity rumors and marital turmoil, of course.
Just recently, after watching some shocking video of neglect and abuse of some orphans in Bulgeria, she's decided to do good.
She's going to adopt a child from there!
The video was broadcast on BBC4 and showed nine months worth of footage of abandoned kids in Bulgaria living in a home for mentally and physically disabled children.
Jordan says, “The programme moved me to tears. So many babies who are born with disabilities find it hard to find adoptive parents – no one wants them. We want to be able to help a child to have a better life."
Jordan, has a six year old, little Harvey, who is autistic and partially blind.
Jordan adds, “So Pete and I have been to see a lawyer about adopting a baby from abroad.”
The process to adopt could take up to 18 months.
Luckily she's got lots of money.

stop the scribbling. If she does it, she is doing something special. She was not only talking about neglected children, but disabled children. Having a child with autism (and blind), she already has an idea what she is in for. Anyone who adopts a child that is disabled is very special.

I underestimated her. She's a very special person. She has a disabled child and is willing to adopt another one. Wonderful! I have an autistic child and there's no way I could/would adopt another one. It's just too much.

I think this is actually a great thing to do. Regardless if anyone thinks she just wants publicity or whatever I think it's wonderful. My sister was born with Spina Bifida which has made me want to work with disabled children. Way back in the day they used to kill babies born that way. So even though she comes off badly at times I at elast have respect for her now.

If she actually goes through with this than Jordan is officially more saintly than Angelina Jolie. Times 10! (But I've always been suspect of Angelina.) Just about anyone can adopt a pretty little healthy baby but it really takes a special couple to adopt a special needs child and devote their whole lives, way beyond the kids' 18th b-day, to caring for another human being. She's a bigger woman than I am. Cup size AND heart. I think I'll go buy her terrible perfume and books just so she'll have more income to raise these poor babies. Go Jordan (and hubby!)

I didn't know she had a son with autism and is also blind. God Bless her and her hubby for their lovin' hearts! Their jobs as parents is really difficult yet rewarding. Please, Perez, be kind to this couple in the future. A high majority of parents w/ disabled children end up divorced…which sucks mostly for the children so Jordon needs encouragement big time!
