More bad news for Ed McMahon!

According to his rep, the former Star Search host has had a third surgery for a pestering neck injury:

"Ed had his third and hopefully final neck surgery today [Friday] at an L.A. hospital. He's awake, alert and resting comfortably, and the McMahon family is grateful for all the prayers and good wishes."

Sadly, the deep in debt old dog has been unable to work the last 18 months because of the neck injury.

Why doesn't his reportedly luxury loving,overspending wife get a j-o-b?

      He had a truckload of money and he spent it all.

      If I had even a portion of what he had, I can assure you that at least my house would be paid off!

      Poor Ed! I wonder did he have his surgery at L.A. county hospital with all the other poor folks…or did he still get the royal treatment in a lush Beverly Hills clinic? I feel no sympathy for him, squandering his money like the fool that he is. The rest of us are paying our bills and yes, some who haven't made a fraction of his money have worked hard and paid their mortgages off! What a fool!!! (and I hate using that word, but it is so true)

      I don't understand:
      #1. Why do people that have millions lose their houses? It seems you would buy the damn thing outright and not get a loan with interest. That's what I'd do
      #2. Why would anyone have sympathy for someone who mishandled their millions so badly they are now broke?
      #3. I think their idea of broke and mine are different.

      Shit my husband and I could live for 18 montns on what we have saved alone and neither of us has ever made milliions of dollars. This man made all that money and spent it all too. It's the law of economics 101 - don't spend more than you earn. This is a sad tale of greed. I have barely any sympathy to him and others who bought expensive houses and only made $35.000 a year. Just common sense tells you you can't afford a $500,000 home. Now, the government will bail them out and all the rest of us who did the right thing will get socked with higher taxes. Thanks all you greedy deadbeats.
