With the birth of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new son and daughter, we have a feeling that there will be lots of Brangie baby news this week!
Their doctor, Michel Sussmann, is quite the yapper.
He spoke (a lot) this past weekend and even talked to the media again on Monday, assuring everyone that Angelina is fine (again) and the babies are doing great (as he had previously said).
Michel also told reporters that Brad was a great help in the delivery room.
Dr. Sussmann jokingly adds that Brad "was my assistant!" He even mentions that Poppa Pitt cut both of the twin's umbilical cords.
Adding that Brad was "perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional."
As for Angelina, during delivery, the doctor adds that for her, "It was an epidural, so she was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy. [They] were talking, they were together."
Ange will be required to stay in the hospital for a few days, so her exact departure dates are yet unknown. Or so the doctor wants us to believe.
Dr. Sussmann adds, "She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn't like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay."
Yea, that's because in the US people can't afford to stay a few days. Having children is expensive here.
And it turns out that their twins might be the highest paid children ever!
Reports are still circulating that the first photos of the kids will be worth millions, over $11 million are the new reports, while some estimate between $15-$20 million.
But of course, the proceeds will go to charity.
The Jolie-Pitt family is just too good to be true!

c-sections are major surgery! i had two, and it takes a good 4-5 days of massive pain shots in order to feel half way decent! but i was lucky, i did get to stay 5 days!!!
it's not the fact that people in the US can't afford to stay in the hospital more than a few days, it's because the insurance companies refuse to pay for more than that, dimwit!

Angelina had a C-Section, that is why she has to stay in the hospital a few extra days. Usually 96 recovery hours for a C-Section and 72 for a routine vaginal birth.

Actually, it's not that people in the US can't afford it - it's because our shitty healthcare system forces us out of the hospital in 2 days for regular delivery and 3 days for a c-section. Imagine that - they kick you out - after they just cut a hole in your body - after just 3 days!

So, instead of paying thousands to a photog, millions is paid. the owners of the mag want to make money so they lay off people, don't give deserved raises, cut benefits and raise the price of the magazine. But, the price can only go so far before people say it isn't worth it. Most of these rags have reached it for the average person.
I had a C-section and my husband was in the operating room but he did NOT do anything that resembled assisting the doctor. Why would anyone want to see the person they supposedly love like that? With a huge incision in their abdomen? Brad's ass should have been behind the sheet holding Angelina's hand.
He cut the cord and she had a C-section?? Both of my deliveries were vag so not 100% sure but I thought in America, fathers could not cut the cord in C-sections because past the drape was considered a sterile/surgical environment? I guess things are different in France.

I went home 17 hours after delivering. There is no reason to stay in the hospital that long. Womens bodys are made to give birth, childbirth is not a medical emergancy.
Well good to see that Angelina will be well rested after the babies as it will be hard going having all 6 kids when she goes home. I do like the fact that Brad and Angelina have done a lot for charity, however auctioning your babies pictures off to the highest bidder? I know the money is going to charity, but happened to privacy and a little class? Babies are so precious and beautiful moments of their growth is priceless. I don't know appears to be the trend of the celebrities to put their babies out there for the public - but only at a price.

I just wanted to add that in Canada, they kick you out of the hospital the next day… Ther is no waiting around to make sure everything is alright. Everyone says our system is better casue we dont pay as much, but we also dont get the quality…

In Europe, or at least in Norway, our welfare system ensures thet we don't have to pay anything for our stay at the hospital when we are giving birth.. That's why we can stay untill we are completely fine. We don't have the system of health insurance.
