Your Brangelina Update
With the birth of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new son and daughter, we have a feeling that there will be lots of Brangie baby news this week!
Their doctor, Michel Sussmann, is quite the yapper.
He spoke (a lot) this past weekend and even talked to the media again on Monday, assuring everyone that Angelina is fine (again) and the babies are doing great (as he had previously said).
Michel also told reporters that Brad was a great help in the delivery room.
Dr. Sussmann jokingly adds that Brad "was my assistant!" He even mentions that Poppa Pitt cut both of the twin's umbilical cords.
Adding that Brad was "perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional."
As for Angelina, during delivery, the doctor adds that for her, "It was an epidural, so she was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy. [They] were talking, they were together."
Ange will be required to stay in the hospital for a few days, so her exact departure dates are yet unknown. Or so the doctor wants us to believe.
Dr. Sussmann adds, "She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn't like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay."
Yea, that's because in the US people can't afford to stay a few days. Having children is expensive here.
And it turns out that their twins might be the highest paid children ever!
Reports are still circulating that the first photos of the kids will be worth millions, over $11 million are the new reports, while some estimate between $15-$20 million.
But of course, the proceeds will go to charity.

Um hello, do you think it's all free for healthcare in Europe? Who do you think foots the bill? Taxpayers. Care to guess how much of their taxes go towards the public healthcare system? Three times as much as what you'd pay for private insurance in the States. So no, they are not getting a free ride at the hospital. They are paying through the ass for it. Don't be ignorant.
Because insurance SUCKS here and the US being the richest nation can't even give proper medical care to their own!!! My family is being TAXED to death for what??? I'd rather make sure my nation's people are safe and well than anything else…
You are like, 12 years old, emotionally speaking. You worship these two people for the fantasy you have built up in your mind regarding who they are. Only a handful of braindeads just like you actually believe any of the "we are the world" PR these two constantly spin. Big deal. Anyone can donate money that is given to them, which is exactly what they are doing. When they actually completely walk away from Hollywood, give up all of their luxuries, and go to LIVE IN a third world country where their money can't even buy them a clean drink of water, and work with their own backs to build and change things for the hurting WITHOUT ALLOWING EVEN ONE CAMERA OR REPORTER TO FOLLOW OR REPORT UPON THEM, I'll be impressed. Until then, they're just two more Hollywood posers sucking money from magazines that they can use to gain positive PR for themselves. They aren't even giving their own money, you idiot. Anyone can be a hero with someone else's money.

Re: tINa – You may have been out in 2 days, but after a C-Section, I strongly doubt that you were up and down, jumping around. C-sections are major surgery and it takes at least 2 weeks for the pain to subside. Don't even try that 'americans are dimwits' shit.
What's wrong with the world that someone would pay an estimated $15-$20 million for pictures of babies….just don't understand…let's pay that money to educators or service people instead of "movie stars and their children"

It's actually not true that ppl stay longer in the hospital in europe because they can afford it. They just did a program on NPR on how French natal services are insanely better than ours. Their health insurance covers prenatal care, the birth, a hospital stay, a pre- and post- maternity leave, and even doctors and nurses to do housecalls. Doesn't cost them much to have all this.

I also feel sorry for Mad, Z and Pax, their probably like " WTF mom, more kids." Mads world when it was just him and mom has been shattered. Nobody can be getting the individual attention that kids need so badly.

I am so fucking sick of celebrities getting praised for doing something that people do every day. OMG Brad was attentive, very moved and emotional. They make it out to be Brad was the first guy in the universe who had those emotions for his children's birth when most fathers out there have the same feelings. And this Doctor makes Angie out to be this supermom. Give me a fucking break. Once they go home their nannies will be doing a majority of the parenting. Please go away Brad and Angie!!

Perez, honestly, what do you know about what it's like to give birth? Most women can't wait to get the heck out of the hospital after a normal healthy delivery, which accounts for most. I found hanging around in a bed in the hospital to be sooo boring and depressing. I just wanted to be at home with my family.
But I guess any chance you get to take a swipe at the U.S. and give credit to Europeans for being oh so much smarter and sophisticated than we are…
By the way, try getting into a hospital in the U.K. to give birth…they're encouraging home births because their universal system of healthcare is more broken than our private one.
We have medicaid for the poor, which is comprehensive and free. There is also sliding scale insurance available for ANY pregnant woman who makes too much to qualify for medicaid yet cannot afford insurance. Women in this situation, married or not, can buy insurance through the state for the purpose of having a healthy baby. There are millions of qualified people who don't take advantage of medicaid at all. I have given birth with private insurance coverage and with medicaid coverage and received excellent treatment.
Without America's free market system the world's healthcare would be in the dark ages. God knows medical advances don't come nearly in the number from countries with universal healthcare than from the good old U.S.A.
By the way, the mortality rate may be higher here, but our population growth is positive and we don't have nearly the number of abortions that European women do.
Please revert to calling her "Santa Angelina" and putting the halo back on her head! And figure out what to call Papa Pitt. Pope Pitt?

It had to be a C-section because of Angie's loose ass vajayjay - otherwise those babies would have flown across the room. I swear women today are such wimps and spoiled when it comes to childbirth. My great-great grandmother gave birth to twins naturally (one of them was my great-grandma obviously) back in 1876 without epidurals or any other help. I'm sure it almost killed her because childbirth was so much more dangerous. Women back then were much tougher.

As much as I hate Angelina, I will defend her C-Section..She had a c-section with Shiloh..Now, a woman CAN give birth naturally the second time around, but she faces great risk.. A natural delivery may rupture her uterus..Not always..I am pretty sure that since she was preg with twins,her doctor wanted to take no chances…Whoever made the comment that her vag was like a waterslide is awesome, but it was her doctor's call, not hers..
