I saw a screening last week & wasnt overly impressed. I wasnt quite sure if it was embracing the hokey/cheesyness of the stereotypical musical or if it was really just hilarious in how bad it was. I was mildly amused, but prob wouldnt buy it & was glad my tickets were free. Pierce Brosnan is an especially hilariously terrible singer.

I Just watched the movie. It was just as bad as the broadway show. Meryl Streep over acted like she always does, and of course everyone will love her in it. Amanda Seyfried was charming and the only reason to watch the movie. This movie will not be a bomb. It has already made a decent amount of money overseas. Only problem is that it opens on batman weekend here.
