But not when it comes to acting.
Nicole Kidman's "son" (who doesn't call her mommy) was at daddy Cruise's airplane hangar in Burbank, CA practicing with an instructor this past weekend.
Connor Cruise spent Saturday afternoon on a small prop airplane ready for his flying lesson.
And sources say that with the help of his instructor, Connor practiced taking off, landing, and cruising about three times in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
By the evening, Connor was done with his lesson, accident free.
Pretty impressive for a 13 year old.
As for age restrictions, according to the source, it's leagal for a 13 year old to take flying lessons as long as the child is big enough physically - such as being able to reach the pedals and all controls.
When he turns 16, though, Connor will be able to apply for a license.

For all of you who are freaking about the 'rich celeb kid' flying, do yourselves a favor and check your local flight school about the cost of lessons. Its not bad. And flying a 172 isn't exactly luxury….

If you look at the wedding pics of Nicole and Keith's wedding you will see a pic of Bella with her mum's sister Antonia and cousin Lucia. The resemblance between the 3 is uncanny. Maybe it is just a coincidence, but Bella certainly resembles Nicole's mother, sister and cousins from Australia.

You can't legally get your license until you are 17. You can solo (fly without your instructor) when you're 16 but not with passengers and with all sorts of other restrictions. Good try though.
