      I don't live in Miami anymore, but I still vote there. They need it more than this red pit. And Thank god I didn't grow up anywhere NEAR Little Havana or Hialeah.

      she's an alien or even the aliens would not accept such a brat, spoiled, an illiterate girl; the parents must not have done something good to that human being, did she even go to school and be educated….she might be in the music industry but she sounds like she has no culture at all, I feel sorry for a person and to the others like her, she's still too young, though, if I were that father of hers, I'll send her to school and be educated, but I wonder if she even has brains to go to school….

      Are you crazy? The people of Florida rejoiced and danced in the streets when our government turned that little squirting Cuba back over to his daddy. The criminal Cubes in Florida helped to steal the election from Al Gore which in turn, ushered in the horrendous Bush administration, but of course a stupid Cuban like you would be proud of that. We wouldn't be in two wars right now if Bush had not won. We should pile every Cuban in Miami on ships and send them to the Middle-East to fight since they were too cowardly to fight for that poverty rat hole island that they are always waxing nostalgically about.       I would love to see the Cuban Community voting Democrat, but racism still plays an important role, specially with the elderly, some of them don't even speak english but they hold an american passport, so they can vote…….hopefully we (younger generations) can change that…we'll see.

      Miami needs to get it's act together. It has all the potential to be great, but it is a Banana Republic run by and filled with people who want it to be an extension of Cuba and Latin America with all the benefits of being in the U.S. I love diversity, but it's a mess. And yes, I live in Miami.

      I am Cuban and of course I don't live there anymore, but i really hope the Cubans in Miami get their act together and vote for Obama. Even though my country has a rotten political system ( and politicians) most cubans who have left the island have left family behind who greatly depend on the money we send to survive, so it is stupid for the ignorant cuban mafia in miami to follow someone like McCain who follows Bush, and instead of improving the life of those innocent people, make them suffer even more. Isn't enough that Cubans have to put up with their leaders, so that now people like McCain deprive them of the little hope they have of getting some extra help from family members or even a visit from their loved ones to encourage them and let them know that there is a better place out there? But again i do believe most Cubans to be very narrow-minded and ignorant people. However, i don't blame them, i think communism does that to people, even if they move their thoughts and actions will always be influenced perhaps unconsciously by the ideals in which they were brought up.

      I can't believe how many racist comments I have to read every time I read up something about Cuba. Drown us in the Atlantic? Send us to the Middle East? You American-born people should be sticking up for us! How about if it were a big group of immigrants from Darfur who wanted to retain their native language and kept pressing the government to help the situation in the Sudan? I'm surprised we were called "Cubes" instead of Mexicans. Nice to see the very smart White population has broadened their vocabulary. All I know is the facts; 1. Miami would be nowhere near it's economic power if it wasn't for us "drug dealing communists" 2. We have fought and continue to fight for our country but, if you were beaten and thrown to jail every time you spoke your mind about the government would you be such a "hero"..that's what i thought; some Cubans had NO choice but to come to the US. and 3.       who cares? i am sick of the cubans in miami (and elsewhere) who continue to live a life of luxury here that they enjoyed before the revolution… i'm wondering if the revolution had been defeated would people in China be putting bumper stickers on their cars that read "free Cuba"? free Tibet? how about freeing Puerto Rico and Hawaii first?
