Looks like Saturday Night Live is about to get a little suckier!

Funny lady Amy Poehler is in advance negotiations with NBC to star in the net's upcoming spinoff of The Office.

Who's going to do Hillary Clinton on SNL when the Second City alum leaves?

Producers have been very secretive about the spinoff, so we're surprised (and glad!) that this juicy tid bit got out!

The yet-to-be named spinoff is scheduled to join NBC's Thursday roster in February, following a post-Super Bowl premiere.

      YEAY!! This is such good news!!! I LOOOOVE The Office, and I'm so excited for the spinoff, Amy will be GREAT in it, she is an excellent comedy actress! It's good that she's moving on from SNL, at least she did it while she was still at the top of her game!
      Plus SNL now has Kristen Wiig who is also sooooo freaking good! Love Penelope!

      She's alright on SNL, but "The Office" is so much better with no-names, like the girl that replaced Toby. If she had been someone who was really famous prior to the show, it would've been bad.
      Besides, her humor is all wrong for that style of show. I hope to God she does not get it!!!!

      If you look closely at the alumni lists of the Second City you WILL NOT find Poehler's name. The bastards never hired her to a resident stage. Just another reason they've lost touch with talent.

      Love Amy Poehler!! I'll start watchng The Office now that shes gonna be on. She's also the voice of Bessy Higginbottom on Mighty B. It's a pretty funny cartoon for all you parents out there that are forced to watch cartoons. It's my favorite.

      I'm sure that she would have stayed on SNL if it looked like Hillary Clit-on was going to be the next president. But since that isn't going to happen- she's making a great decision. She was the only funny one on the show.

      Wasn't Will Arnett set to star in that spin-off? My theory is that Alec Baldwin is leaving 30 rock and Arnett's character Devin Banks is gonna replace him. I love Amy Poehler sooooooo much and want her to have her own show… but not if it means leaving SNL before the end of this season!
