It's never too late to get help!
Rolling Stones guitar man Ronnie Wood has entered rehab for a drinking problem, it was revealed today.
His mouthpiece says, "Following Ronnie's continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab. His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."
Wood has had a history of substance abuse.
He told news agency Reuters in an interview last year that his wife and Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger had persuaded him to enter rehab before the band's 2002 tour.
This most recent trip to rehab might have been prompted by British media reports that ran last week claiming Woods' marriage was on the rocks because he had decamped to his Irish retreat with an 18-year old Russian COCKtail waitress.

OMG! I LOVE RONNIE WOOD! I hope he gets better real soon, and maybe that way The Stones will have another CD come out and another tour! I got the chance to see them on their Bigger Bang Tour and Ronnie gave me and my girlfriend his guitar pick! I SEROUSLY LOVE RONNIE AND I HOPE HE GETS BETTER SOON!

Not to be cruel, but at his age, is it really even worth it to try and rehab? Shoot, if I was still alive at his age after all the substance abuses I'd figure why change? Just go out without quitting!

WTF and 18 yr old - hmm yah I 'd say my marriage is on the rocks too when I gravitated towards someone who was umm 42 years younger than me - it could be his granddaughter and I am sure he'd never want no 62 year old banging his 18 yr old granddaughter - getting old sucks, but trying to extract the fountain of youth from an 18 year - that's just crazy.

All the members of the Rolling Stones have had drug and/or alcohol issues. Remember the one who drowned in a swimming pool in their early days? He was the one Wood replaced. The hard partying of their younger days has well and truly caught up with them. That's why they look like walking corpses now. It's interesting the way Perez shows compassion for this guy even while including his supposed philandering with a girl young enough to be his granddaughter, yet others who have drug problems get slammed. Nowhere do we see the dribbles drawn coming from the mouth, or the words "slut" or "man ho" written across him - just "get well". What has Mr Wood done to receive such special treatment? And what did all the others do in order to be vilified? Perhaps some consistency in attitude towards people with addiction problems wouldn't go astray here, with the hope that ALL of them get well.
