Sad Day For Heigl
ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson confirmed today, Wednesday, that Katherine Heigl is still very much part of the Grey's Anatomy family.
They're not letting Katie out of that contract!
The ABC prez told TV critics, "She won an Emmy last year, she's a fantastically talented actress. I think it's unfortunate when there's any kind of turmoil on that show. There's so many people who work so incredibly hard to make that show the No. 1 show in the country. I never like to see when any of them take it lightly. She's absolutely staying with the show. There's an unbelievable story line for her next season. Shonda Rhimes is excited about that, she actually crafted it."
Ha! ABC probably made Rhimes make nice with Katie!
According to past reports, she was thinking of killing Heigl off!
Sounds like it's going to be a mighty dramatic year on the screen and behind the scenes at Grey's!

I never saw shonda talking to the press. Half the crap out here is bs And if it is true, which I doubt, she could alway be writing a script where Katherine is leaving the hospital and gets mugged, then shoot by another robber, then stabbed by another mugger, then run over by a car. not recognizable, the hospital keeps paging her to work on the poor identifiable patient. By the time they realize the beeper going off on the patient is actually dr. izzie, she is permantly scarred and paralyzed and unable to talk and……
She sounds like an absolute spoiled brat to me. Where's her work ethic? The money she makes!!!! She's probably never lived in the real work where people barely make enough to live on and that's the problem.

the story line that rhimes created is that she is going to have a brain tumor so for a long period of time she isnt going to know if she is going to die or not, that was rhimes way of getting back at her
People people people…please wake yourself from your coma of disillusionment…she's NOT FAMOUS!! or a box office draw! Grey's Anatomy is a hit TV show…any other actress in that role, nothing would've changed…she wears VERY PRETTY DRESSES FOR PAPARAZZI PHOTOS AND GET IN US WEEKLY that does NOT = Famous. I say let the idiot out of her contract and let her join the ranks of those huge box office stars Shelly Long and David Caruso….once Grey's is cancelled Heigl will be the next Julianna Marguiles and Kim Delaney.
Maybe this was ABC's way to keep her from being set free. Keep her in a contract that she may not want to be in…that's punishment for not being appreciative of the role that put her on the map.
Heigl is nothing special. She's taken one part that brought her some fame and she should be grateful. She's biting the hand that fed her. I certainly wouldn't run to a theatre to see a movie because she is in it. 27 Dresses was dismal. Lassie was a better actress and will be known longer than Heigl. There are a dozen other actresses than can weep and look pitiful ten times better than she can.
I hate that cigarette smoking count!
Does anyone still care about this show? Her character should develop lung cancer from years of smoking, die and appear as a ghost until her contract expires.
Fortunately, she has her cigarettes for comfort.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this ungrateful, arrogant bitch be fired from that show and let her "acting career" go back to its deserved obscurity so she can remember that three years ago she was nothing. Hopefully, she will have no work and no money next year and she will have to become a whore to make some bucks.

Kill the whole show — it SUCKS
I have also heard that they Shonda wrote in a brain tumor story line for Katherine's character….but it is being said that it is a punishment….thing is I doubt that Shonda is that stupid to give Katherine exactly what she complained about no having…good material. So, unless Izzie is in a coma with nothing leading up to it, then I'd have to say that they are trying to make Katherine happy in order to keep her. It's been no secret that she wants off the show to continue working on her film career….and I guess the biggest question is, does Grey's need Katherine or does Katherine need Grey's???
