Much Mo' Scrubs
Good new for the those Scrubs fans that remain out there.
As you might have heard by now, the show is being picked up by ABC for another season. It's likely to start airing in January 2009.
And, rumors are that the sitcom might continue on for a few more seasons with new cast members along the way.
Looks like they're trying to make it survive like ER did.
There's a (strong?) possibility that Scrubs lead Zach Braff won't be returning.
ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson said, "Certainly when we picked it up we had to make the decision based on this one season because, you know, there is a likelihood that that would be it."
He adds, "We do think there's an opportunity after that — talking to Zach, talking to Bill — and whether and/or all of the cast is a part of that, I still think there's a great amount of growth there. We do think that it will not hopefully be a one-season situation. But we'll just take that step by step."
Forget about future seasons.

I will watch as long as Vanilla Bear and Chocolate Bear are on the show. I think one or the other can carry the show for a little on their own but they chemistry is what makes the show. Viva la scrubs bitches.
This is my favorite show, of course i´ll be watching!! ..But if Zach wont be around neither will i

Have you ever watched the show? It's nothing like ER!! Unless any show that centers on doctors a knockoff in your world. The show is F-ing hilarious and if you don't think it's funny that's fine but it's definitely not any sort off rip off of ER. Maybe Grey's but for sure not Scrubs. Furthermore, if any show that revolves around doctors is a rip off then they are all rip offs of General Hospital which is a soap that revolves around doctors and has been on for 45 years, well before ER. So try watching something before you dismiss it. Otherwise STFU!

heck yes. scrubs is awesome
i love scrubs but it hasn't been all that great for a couple of years now and it sounds like this move to abc might just screw it up all together. if scrubs doesn't have zach then its not going to be the same show, end of story. hes the narrorator, the main character, they had better not screw this show up anymore because i love the old show and am already disappointed enough by the last 2 seasons. they should just end it with this season and a great finale to wrap things up.

It won't be Scrubs without Zach Braff. What a disappointment. The show probably won't do well…or as well..if Braff is gone.
Only if the old ones come back. The show will go down the drain and be completely ruined if carried on with out the original cast …that's what makes it but more than 1 season will be too much. Just need this season to finish all the tying of loose ends.
