Reports say Rachel Zoe is out at design house Halston.
Raisinface was hired as a creative consultant to advise on red-carpet and celebrity styling.
If the report is true, you can't blame Halston.
Looks like Zoe sucks at the job!
Halston's not a name we've heard of much on the red carpet lately.

Read more then just the headlines… The head designer of Halston was let go yesterday and the company is doing an entire creative shake-up. Zoe didn't believe that the designer was going in the right direction and didn't support him at the last runway show. Now that the line isn't doing well, the company has taken an action that supports her views, but perhaps a bit too late.

Halston was a true legend. The outfits he designed throughout his career are timeless, classic, unsurpassed, and last the test of time. May he rest in peace.

#29 is right. Rachel is into vintage and Halston is probably one of her favorites. She has matched up some great vintage Halston with various celebs - so no problem there. If she is parting ways with the company it is probably more a reflection of the management team over there.
Halston was huge during the Studio 54 days. back when Liza was still thin. she wore his clothing. also Bianca Jagger. When David Guest and Liza married, he (David) threw away some furniture Halston made for her. Halsto died of aids in the 80's

A look from the Fall 2008 Halston collection. (Firstview)It seems to be a recurring theme at Halston: another collection, another designer. Women’s Wear today reported that Marco Zanini, who showed his first collection for Halston this past February, has left the company. Zanini came from Versace, and was duly praised by Tamara Mellon, one of Halston’s new owners. I thought his first collection was terrific—exactly what these over-rich, over-starched times need. But I know that a number of retailers were disappointed with the clothes, saying they weren’t special enough. Stay tuned. There is bound to be more news from this house. (And, of course, everyone is asking: Now who? Ain’t that a puzzle.)

no fucking kidding? i CAN curse right? first time i've been on your site. seriously. not that you wouldn't believe me…..anyway, back to rachel zoe, i didn't even know she worked for halston who by the way wasn't really any good after he died! ha. no, really wasn't really any good after his heyday in the studio 54 days, the 70's mostly. maybe a bit of the 80's. but back to rachel; i could never figure out why everyone always seemed to think she is such a style god! wtf? every picture i've ever seen of her, she's wearing disastrously ugly things! or dressing people in hideous outfits. and i am NOT one of those sheep that thinks everyone should be fashion clones. not one bit. i believe in having your own style. sure, looking good, but not to some bullshit fashion "expert"'s criteria. i LIKED bjork's oscar outfit, for the mere fact that she didn't look like everyone else and it was treated as if she had worn a corpse or something, like she should be jailed. oh, after reading the below comments, my IQ is apparently too high to comment on here. or maybe i should loosen up on my grammar and spelling? or just be an insulting hater?
