Blame The Pigs Police???

As we mentioned earlier, actor Josh Brolin was arrested over the weekend in Louisiana for involvement in a bar fight and impeding police when they tried to break up the brawl.
Now, a witness to the fight this past weekend says there is cellphone footage of the incident which shows actors Brolin, Jeffrey Wright, a few other actors and crew members, and about a dozen police and a police dog.
The video even shows someone yelling a racial slur to black actor Wright. Many believe the cops yelled the slur.
According to the witness, the footage has been given to the actors' attorney.
The city attorney has said her office intends to prosecute the actors and those involved for interfering with officers.
If the case goes to trial, that video footage could become some strong evidence.
The situation took place when an employee at the bar called police to remove a rowdy customer, crew member Eric Felland.
But after the whole incident, the actors and five crew members were arrested.
And a taser was even used on Wright!
Oh, and both Wright and Brolin were doused in pepper spray! According to police, they wouldn't quit holding onto each other.
City prosecutors have set the case for trial later this year in December.

Lets see here, a bunch of hollywood elitist snobs in a southern town to shoot a movie. These hollywood douche bags go to a local bar and get drunk. Then their inner liberal elitist begins to come out. Next they start a fight. Then the police are called in to break it up. The hollywood elitest can not believe that some local yocal has the nerve to address them and continues to cause trouble. Finally the police have had enough and take action against the hollywood douche bags. Still the douche bags do not want to listen to the police and continue to be disruptive. At this time the police have had enough and begin to peper spray and tazer the hollywood douche bags. In all of the rucus, someone pulls out thier cell phone and catches some of the action. Of course a mysterious person allegedly throws out the "N" word and of course it could only be the local police. It couldn't be the person filming the event or maybe someone in the bar fight. No, it has to be the police who were called in to break up this discussion between friends..(sic)

i live in shreveport and the cops here are getting into shit like this all the time. seriously. this is just televised because "famous" people were involved..
look up shreveport cops on youtube, there's a nice video of a cop dealing with a drunk woman in a room and then he turns the camera off and when it's turned back on she's lying in a giant pool of her own blood. two black eyes and a broken nose.
then a guy tasered this other guy who was just standing outside and the cop just got suspended for a day and no criminal charges were filed.
i hate the cops here but i hate the actors and film crews more.

I know this wont clear up anything at all, and im sure its a waste of my time. But i live in shreveport, work across from Stray Cat, and know multiple people who were at the bar that night. All of them say nothing was wrong, everything seemed fine…and then all of this started happening. Josh and Jeffery were holding on to each other when they were being pepper sprayed, because they knew that they had done nothing wrong. Jeffery was tazed until he was on the ground not moving. It wasnt a "Bar Brawl" as all the news outlists are saying, Eric went to get a drink and the bar tender copped an attitude and told him to leave….he saw no reason for him to leave - so he didnt.
Just because Shreveport is in the South doesnt mean we're all racist, or rednecks, or stupid, youre being just as discriminatory saying that as whomever yelled the "n" word. We have cool cops, and we have crappy cops just like every other place in the world.

WTF?? Jeffrey Wright has always seemed like a really nice guy! But I'm from the South (going generations back) and I know how redneck cops can be. (And I'm white). Straight up; they are all corrupt in the little Southern town my family's from — and, no; I've never been arrested. I have no ax to grind. They're just assh*les. Geez. Tasered, for God's sake????

Every actor who does movies in either Shreveport. LA or Albuquerque, NM seems to think that they "own" the town and can do as they pleased. I'm tired of snot nosed, spoiled brat actors throwing their weight around and expecting someone to kiss their asses. THE ACTORS ON A FILM LOCATION ARE SO BUSY WITH WORK AND STUDY THAT THEY DON'T USUALLY HAVE THE TIME OR ENERGY TO DO MUCH ELSE. AND THE WRAP PARTYS AFTER TWO MONTHS SHOOTING ARE MOSTLY VERY TAME AND QUIET. WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU REFERRING TO IN THEIR BEHAVIOR. CAN YOU GIVE US ONE EXAMPLE. JUST ONE. ?

I live in shreveport. Cops are usually pretty fair, it would be upsetting to know they might have attacked these actors for no reason. Shreveport loves the actors that come to film here. Their production crews give a lot of money to our state. There are ignorant people everywhere, not just in the south. And Shreveport isn't exactly a small town. Its the third largest city in the state and growing.
