Really, that could be criminal in those countries. I grew up in the middle east, men and women do not share a lot of activities.. If their was some man dressed as a women lurking around the changing rooms of a department store he would be arrested. They will assume he is either a fag or a perv. I have nothing personal against trannys or gay people, it's just not a good idea to flaunt it in a Islamic country. Perhaps it's not fair, but life is not.

yeah.. i just finished my senior year in dubai aaand the place is pretty strict. a lot of random stuff is illegal but generally you can get away with it, you just gota make sure you dont walk around and publicize stuff like being drunk or PDA or (as ridiculous as it is) being gay. stupid, but thats dubai!

Reducing it,as Perez has done, to little more than an affront to gay rights is ignorant, and serves to illustrate the difficulties the West and Muslim worlds have in understanding eachother.Look at the bigger picture,and you will find that both ways of life and the resultant belief systems differ on a multitude of levels.
